1. Located in a good residential area in Chennai. 2. Doesn't have a dedicated parking, you have to park on the roads/street but it's quite safe considering the area. 3. Rooms were quite clean and spacious. 4. They charged us for the coffee, complimentary breakfast fast was not that good. You get roti with subji which they cook downstairs. 5. We had water problems. Water was comeing very slow since the time we checked in, in the morning we had no water. We had to complain many times, around 11 they fixed it but again the water come very slow. This place has water issues otherwise good.

The rooms are clean and well maintained. The location is excellent with it being in a quiet area adjacent to a park but near enough to shops and restaurants. Places in both Mylapore and Alwarpet are easily accessible. I was booked into this hotel because of an issue with my original hotel and the staff here was friendly and understanding, allowing me to check in even before the formalities were complete. The only shortcoming is with respect to the breakfast and there is scope for improvement in the taste.

This was worst experience.... I reached hotel by 3 pm and was told to look for another property as their ac isn't working. but I was in rush and wasn't interested in going out into 45°c of Chennai sun and somehow I asked him to provide the room without ac itself. And he told me that if he provides me room without ac I shouldn't complain to Oyo or else he asked me to look for another hotel at the very last moment ... Nothing was informed me prior. This irritated me.. the TV wasn't working I came down from the 3rd floor to reception to ask them to turn on the TV . They kept on saying that they will come within 10 min thrice but no one came and I stopped asking about it further .... Very ridiculous residency. He told me there was no other room available with ac. But in the register he noted my room as 25 though he allotted me room no 35. Now understand the level of poor service and fraud done by them... Woe on Oyo... Never recommend this Oyo to anyone. This was my first booking with Oyo. Moreover, no wifi not working and worst ambience u will ever see...I'll also post a link to my YT channel about the review of the room once it is uploaded.

OYO Ranga Residency is one of the best OYO rooms I have been to. Since it is a place like Chennai with high temperatures and high humidity, one cannot live without AC. And this place has almost all AC rooms. At first I was given room number 35, where the AC was not working properly and when I asked the manager about it, he politely changed the room after he came to know the inconvenience that was caused to me. He shifted me to room 11, where AC was working in an extremely good condition. The manager is a really good person and was very polite as well as helpful. It was a very nice experience.

This place is located in the CIT colony , nearby the park, rooms are decent and the toilet also looks decent and clean. The room in which I was staying had no Cable TV or Set top box connection. The AC looks old and has a old smell when we switch it on, they need to clean the filters every now and then which they don't do I guess.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. We will forward these requests to the hotel; however, please note that the hotel may or may not be able to accommodate them depending on availability at the time of check-in. If the booking cannot be confirmed due to certain circumstances, Adani One will refund the entire amount to the original mode of payment.

If the hotel is unable to confirm or deny the booking, Adani One is not under any obligation to provide an alternate booking in lieu of the unconfirmed booking.

Adani One does not collect GSTIN details on behalf of the hotelier, you may request this information directly from the hotelier during the check-in process.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
