Interesting drive towards the hotel. The hotel is located in Ghoom which is 25 minutes by car to Darjeeling. Although the distance is not that much but traffic plays a huge role. Overall the hotel was great and so was the staff. They offer airport pickup and drop off at reasonable cost. The Kanchenjunga view point was the highlight of the hotel. The rooms are bit colder than expected but they do provide heater and it is manageable. Amazing property and food is also great. The breakfast is offered everyday in restaurant and offers new things everyday. They also have a decent bar, game room and weekly bonfires. A must stay and probably will stay again.

Sterling Darjeeling property is well maintained. The staff is very cooperative - at reception, room service and has personal involvement of manager . Store in campus is good and has good range of clothes. We needed Jain food and chef served us with very good option on all days. Overall Great Holidays - Thanks to Sterling Darjeeling.

Sterling Darjeeling is an excellent property from where the view of Kanchenjunga is just marvelous! The food is excellent n chef adds an extra touch to everything. Room service staffs are very courteous n energetic to do their work immediately. Each n every person who enjoys mountain must visit this place. I am satisfied and overwhelmed with my stay at Sterling Darjeeling!

I stayed at this hotel for six days in June 2022. Although the hotel is at a fantastic location, sadly the good things end right there. The service is so sub-standard I had to call the house keeping to clean the toilet two times because the urine smell simply won't go away. At such a fantastic location, you would expect a nice quiet sleep, but alas, the greed of hotel management makes something as basic as quietude a luxury. Everyday there was some party with loud music going on next door and all requests fell on deaf ears. Very tiny rooms with cramped toilet, I am sure the cottages they had backside, were probably just marginally better. Regarding food, the less said the better, but I won't hold this hotel guilty because pretty much all hotels suffer from that. Actually the bad experience was purely man made, and perhaps emanating from greed and ineptitude. Will never go back there.

Sterling Darjeeling justifies all aspects which an ideal resort should have, except for some sanitation hygiene issues in the room and travelling to the city and back is a headache during peak season for the traffic and poor accessible roads. One needs a lot of patience to stay calm for hours in the meandering car train and must fasten their seat belts tightly through out the uphill towards the topsy turvy ride to the resort. Food served during my 4 day stay had similar taste for different items.. It looked as if the same gravy had different items in it with a new tag, and Al a carte had limited items. Not many varieties can be expected there. A proactive room service would have been appreciated instead of customers constantly reminding reception staff.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
