        I stayed at this supposed 4-star hotel (which essentially should be a 1-star hotel) with my family, including three members aged 60+, and three members aged 30+, for 3 nights and 4 days, mainly for New Year. Here are detailed reasons why you should avoid this hotel: 1. The room provided for elderly people requires climbing stairs, causing severe discomfort for those with knee pain. 2. Most staff speak only English and Hindi, making it challenging for Tamil-speaking individuals to communicate. 3. Room toilets were poorly maintained, with broken seat covers and bad odor. Despite raising the issue, no action was taken until I had to shout. 4. The extra mattress provided was essentially a sofa, a poor choice for a 4-star hotel. 5. They charged approximately 20k for 6 adults on New Year's night, with organizers exclusively using Hindi and English, ignoring complaints from Tamil speakers. 6. Despite being a 4-star hotel, they had only one lift, and it was under maintenance during part of our stay. Staff and the manager were unhelpful, causing significant struggles for our elderly family members. 7. Room service and dine-in were frustrating as staff only spoke English and Hindi, often ignoring requests. 8. The hotel arranged a live kitchen in front of rooms without exhaust, causing more discomfort than the toilet odor. 9. The New Year party next to our rooms led to an entire night of frustration. We considered vacating the room at midnight due to our elderly parents. 10. When raising concerns about English and Hindi-speaking staff to the manager, he suggested that Hindi is our national language, refusing further discussion. 11. I booked a studio photoshoot, but it was later informed to be on B2 level, accessible only via stairs or the non-functional lift. 12. Requesting a campfire, I was misinformed about its location, and the manager suggested going to B2 level via stairs due to the non-functional lift. 13. The hotel lacks a "DO NOT DISTURB" sign, resulting in room service knocking even when guests are sleeping. 14. Room service changed blankets but left the old ones in the room, requiring an additional call for cleanup. Conclusion: Avoid this hotel if: - You have elderly family members who cannot climb stairs. - You cannot speak Hindi. - You can't tolerate bad odors from poorly maintained toilets. - You're unwilling to tolerate poor responses from the manager. - You want to avoid a disastrous vacation experience.

Let me get to the plus! Room has great facilities and a great view! Play area and activities for kids and family! Here are detailed reasons why you should avoid this hotel: During check in they didn’t have the systems updated about the full payments I made and got us waiting for more time to check in. The reception staff couldn’t handle the pressure during busy time and showed an attitude while getting adhar cards! 1. They said it was an upgrade and provided family suite which was not that great, one of the rooms is small! When I initially made the booking for 6 premier rooms together 10 days back and was promised to get the same. I couldn’t get back and change the rooms as we were all tried after a 10 hours journey! 2. The extra mattress provided was essentially a sofa, a poor choice for a 4-star hotel. 3. Despite being a 4-star hotel, they had only one lift in the reception area. Staff and the manager were unhelpful, causing significant struggles for our elderly family members. 4. Room service changed blankets but left garbage bins full in the room, requiring an additional call for cleanup. 5. The breakfast buffet was only South Indian food, I expected more continental but couldn’t find anything except pancake and cereal! 6. During check out upon trying to get the bags to the reception nobody turned up after 3 times of calling! All of us carried our bags to the reception and on the way many staff noticed and still nobody even bothered to help! Which was a huge led down for me! The property lacks serious people skills and needs training for their staff to be more courteous! They also constantly tried to sell their membership to me, which was a bit annoying!

        I had a great stay at Sterling Ooty Elk Hill. The resort is huge and very well maintained Their staff is very hospitable and polite. The view from the rooms were gorgeous. I also loved the food. Kids also liked all the activities offered by the resort. Overall I had a great time.

        I had a great stay at Sterling Ooty Elk Hill. The resort is huge and very well maintained Their staff is very hospitable and polite. The view from the rooms were gorgeous. I also loved the food. Kids also liked all the activities offered by the resort. Overall I had a great time.

        Lovely place to stay. Very nice view from the room and other parts of the hotel. Has a spa, activity area , archery and paint ball, game room. The food is also good. And room service is also very good. For me location is good as very peaceful and scenic.

          Booking Policy
          It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.
          The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.
          Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.
          If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.
          Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.
          Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.
          The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.
