Extremely unpleasant booking experience, wide discrepancy between houseboat and booking agency on availability. Poor responsiveness on calls and unaccommodating attitude on basic amenities like putting an extra bed in fairly large room. When choosing luxury leisurely travel, these attributes are key for pleasant experience, unfortunately not the case during my booking. Posting same so others can benefit from this feedback.

Me and my family had a host of misgivings about staying in houseboat , it might be smelly the place might be full of mosquitoes🦎🦟🕷️🦗 and insects felt. It was moored in stagnant water after all. Plus no one was sure how the bathrooms would be. So we booked a house boat only for a day after all we did not want to take a chance. However as all of alighted in Sukoon on our last day we wished(including children) we would stayed in the boat for our entire trip. The boat it breathtakingly beautiful with carved walnut panels and carpets all around , the common area is spacious and very comfortably furnished. We were given 2 rooms "Nishat"&"Chasmeshahi" both the rooms very comfortably furnished with four poster beds an ornate desk with lamp and everything else one would expect in a five star property. The bathrooms ( which were a major concern) are furnished with the most modern fittings availble in the market and surprisingly the water pressure in the shower was perfect. There is even a bath tub if one wants to laze around. They have a strict no plastic policy ( which is much appreciated) and so they serve water in a copper urn. The boat besides a small lobby area also has a dining room and a lovely partly covered sundeck where they serve breakfast ( live counter) and high tea and even dinner if you want. They also serve high tea and organize musical evenings when the occupany is full. Then of course there is the people who mann the boat. The crew led by Mr Bashir consists of people from Kerla and Kashmir, including a chef each from both states. These guys really understand the meaning of the word hospitality. Nothing is too much for them and I never saw the smile waver from any of thier faces for all the time I was there. They treat you so well that one actually feels bad while leaving for home. The food too was quiet good and my parents liked the fact that they could Phulkas here. All in all one of the best places to stay in Srinagar and quiet an experience. I hope to come back soon. PS they also have a motor boat for pick and drop at all times.

We loved having the Houseboat experience as a private accommodation for our group of 10. There are 5 rooms. Wish we could have had early morning coffee and hot water all day long for showers or baths but service was great when staff was aboard the boat. Most staff, services, food, drinks came from a stationary house in the rear of the boathouse. Wi-Fi was OK, it was a unique experience that might have been more enjoyable in warmer weather. Food was excellent but you need to BYOB if you want hard liquor. Beer or wine.

The house boot is excellent in terms of location, Rooms and Services. Evening high tea is the highlight of the venue with local singers performing. For dinner we opted for Kashmir thalli and it was a over dose of local food 👌. All in all worth the money, away from the crowd.

Great hospitality, warm and humble staff. Motorboat is arranged for pick up from Dal lake 19A till the House boat. They served kahwa as welcome drink. Dinner was awesome. Very clean bathrooms

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
