Rooms are okay, services are 'pathetic', only interested about money, televisions doesn't work, keep saying they are doing some recharge, which never happens, food is below average, takes a very long waiting time. Such hotels are mostly run by touts/agents who books these rooms for unsuspecting visitors then the ordeal starts, from reception to location, there are much better options at around the same location at much cheaper rates, try to avoid this hotel in particular.

Awesome stay at Sumi Queens Yard Darjeeling. Polite and humble front office staff allowed us early check in and offered lovely Darjeeling tea as welcome drink. It's a new property and we stayed in Triple Premium room with excellent view of valley, Darjeeling town and majestic Kunchenjunga right from the comfort of lying idly on the comfy beds of our room. Hotel staff was ever smiling eager to help. Service could have been little faster to match with the property standards but was satisfactory. We had buffet breakfast and dinner included in the package and found the food in restaurant pretty good if not great. Thank you Prayan, Diwakar, Peyang and everyone at the restaurant to offer top notch services to us during our stay at the hotel. Our best wishes to Queens Yard team. Still can't forget the taste of the lovely blend of tea we had at the restaurant in breakfast. Kids enjoyed so much and we all wish to stay in Sumi Queens Yard itself whenever we visit Darjeeling again.

I stayed in this hotel for couple of days and here is the review Pros: 1. The food was good Cons: Most important, being a cold place their heater is charged ☹️ 1. Their website says spa and massage available but it’s not 2. Most of the items on the menu is not available 3. Forgot to note the name of the receptionist but she said don’t call reception until emergency 4. Geysers are super small and it takes 20 mins for each person 5. Their restaurant promotes buffet and if you ask them for menu items they take 1 hour to prepare. Buffet is very average 6. Breakfast menu is so average and their Idlis, man please don’t even try it 7. You can clearly hear people talking outside your room

Room sizes are too small and nit worth it as compared to the tariffs they have charged.inspite of the space in the room there are no chairs provided to sit and have chitchat. No mug is there in the washroom no shoes are there in this so called luxury hotel to use in the bathroom. Even they don't have any mat infront of the washroom, when we requested one they provided an old use towel infront of the washroom. There is no communication with their head offices regarding the arrival of guest and their choice of rooms, in arriving the hotels they said they were not communicated to provide us a double room instead of a triple sharing room, though we have received the confirmation mail from the head office a day before. Not at all worth it with the price paid. They charged 6000rs per night in a double bed room, with these price one can easily get better accomation near the mall in a much luxurious hotels. Not at all satisfied

I've managed to survive a horrific incident, as I write this review from my hotel room (it's 1:30 AM, and I lack the courage to sleep here), the events of yesterday weigh heavily on my mind. Between 4 and 5 AM, an intruder entered my room, No. 205, through the window, making off with two iPhones. It took six agonizing hours to gain access to the CCTV footage after filing an FIR. Regrettably, the CCTV coverage does not extend to the backside of the hotel. The ease with which someone could enter a hotel room through a window is beyond belief. In my state of shock and helplessness, the hotel staff, rather callously, insisted on either checking out or paying extra for extended time before I escalated to higher management. I strongly advise against choosing this hotel if security is a concern for you.
