Overall experience was good but I didn't liked the location. We had to climb a mountain to reach hotel due to which we avoided going out. Lastly the heater was not given to have to it I had to pay "extra" charge. In my opinion, after booking a 3 star hotel and not getting heater is quite undesirable and from human PoV it's unethical. The weather was too cold for me in Darjeeling and without heater I fell sick and my tour was disturbed.

This will be a mixed review. Though the hotel is good but the rooms are not that good compared to other sumi properties. Food is really good and dining services are also good. But the worst part of this property is its location, a walk towards the hotel is hill climbing activity. Instead of sumi vista choose sumi Sanderling.

The 6th floor family rooms with 2 queen beds were fantastic. The food was great too at the restaurant on 5th floor and reasonably priced; breakfast was indeed tasty with great variety. We did not try the spa. The reception was on 4th floor which was the entrance from the street and the smaller standard/deluxe rooms are below that along the lower side of the cliff. The view of kanchenjunga from the room as well as the terrace ( cafe) at sunrise was great. The location is indeed up a steep road but it took us just 5 minutes to reach mall road a few min extra to come back up. However keep in mind that some cars may struggle to come up this road and SUV is advisable and also better to avoid staying here on public holiday weekends when traffic jams are horrendous in central Darjeeling and approach into this road may be next to impossible.

Worst hotel overall in Darjeeling. Bedsheets and towels were not clean. Me and my husband stayed there for 3 days, no housekeeping were seen till whole 3 days. We ourselves cleaned the room, and we had to remind them thrice a day for water bottles. Breakfast timing is too poor… so pathetic staffs. At last, they asked us to pay ₹500 for towel which was already dirty. So we shifted sumi vista to istana. ISTANA is one of the best hotel in Darjeeling.you guys can go for istana without hesitating!!! Didn’t imagine 2024 like in Darjeeling. January 2024 The worst hospitality ever experienced in Darjeeling. The location they should mention that cant be reached by a walk with lauguage. Their standard room should have basic standards as there is no ventialation windows or sunlight, it feels like spending 3 days in closed box. Yet no room cleaning came by and done the job. Had to go to desk and ask for towels and water bottles. Had broken coffee mug and spilled coffee due that had to use bath towel as there were no tissues in room. At checkout day, they charged 500rs for face towel which was itself not worth that much. When I asked for tissue they informed they ran out of it at this moment. Went out late evening and came around 11:30PM , we literally were outside knocking the main entrance to get in as it’s locked. Called reception desk but it wasn’t reachable due to operational hours. They didn’t have any emergency number to reach out. After 15 min, left outside in 4degree and a guy came and opened the door for us and informed that gate closed at 11PM. No one has informed from Desk. Good luck for those who has upcoming booking for Sumi Vista TV tower Darjeeling

The hotel was very good..the behaviour of the staff is too sweet and soft. The food was awesome. I came here for vacation with my family and enjoyed the beauty of Darjeeling.. the view from my room was amazing, also we can see kanchenjunga, that experience was too good..I suggest you to stay in Sumi Vista..

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
