We chose this resort since we thought Summit properties are generally good. Well this one was an exception. Firstly, we booked a specific room type since the website mentioned that it has a Mountain View. Unfortunately there was no view whatsoever. We couldn’t even sit in the balcony due to the dust from the construction going on right outside the room. Construction work started early in the morning and woke us up early during our vacation. The roof is basically the floor of the cabin above us. So even if the people were walking slowly, we could still hear the noise very loudly. And unfortunately for us, there was a toddler above us and we had to change our place for the day to just get out of the room. Do not order tea or coffee- they are pathetic. Food was too average and given the location you don’t even have much choices outside. Flush in the toilet wasn’t efficient. Water in the bathroom took its own sweet time to drain. Staff were polite and helpful (but also couldn’t do much) Overall, a lot of improvement is required. The common areas looked a little shabby. Wouldn’t recommend the resort to anyone

First and foremost: This property is away from the main city but then it will not be possible to get this type of space within the city. The property was very good. Specially the Chalet Rooms were very impressive and all of us liked those. The wooden interiors give a charming feeling to them. But the flooring needs improvement, especially in room no 603. It seems to be loose at many places and also makes a lot of noise and is disturbing for the room below i.e Room No 601 Our parents had also travelled to the property. For them it was difficult to take stairs to take all the time. They would have preferred if there are some railings in the stairs to hold on to. For Sr. Citizens there is a chance of falling if the footing is not proper. Sine this is a resort property hence there were lot of stairs to move from one place to the other. The breakfast spread was quite good with lot of options. Some of the food items need improvement in overall taste. Even though there were lot of options some items did not taste that great. But I must praise the fantastic Idli and Sambhar we had on both the days during the breakfast. We were booked from 30th Dec to 1st Jan and the Resort had arranged a nice celebration for the New Years eve which was a plus.

I stayed at the property during 27th December to 30th December 2023. I stayed in one of the premium rooms booked directly with the property manager. In the restaurant, there were three waitresses who were very kind and helpful, however the most appreciation should go to Srijana. The way she helped me and my daughter was a great experience. Thankyou for your outstanding service. Special thanks to Srijana.

Going to remember the stay forever: My family and I visited Gangtok earlier this week and decided to stay at Summit Norling Spa Resort. We were little disappointed when we arrived at the property as it is far from the heat of the city I was almost doubting my decision. But to our surprise all our disappointment went right away when we entered the Resort and welcomed by the most courteous staff I have ever experienced. The room was really good and the service was excellent. I would like to give a huge shoutout to the restaurant/room service executives Ms Sumitra, Ms Pema and Ms Gracee and front office executive Ms Simran. They were always ready to go the extra mile to serve to our needs and help us having a great stay. They were specially very nice and took great care of our daughter. I would also like to mention the staff to help us feel like at home during Diwali, with all the lighting and sweets. I would like to highly recommend Summit Norling to anyone who likes a calm and peaceful stay amidst the flora and fauna of Gangtok still far from all the noise of the city.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
