Positives : The location was a big plus. This was very close to an observatory view point that gives a very good view of Kanchenjunga. It is also close to Mall Road and other shopping streets. Negatives : 1. We had booked a deluxe room through Makemytrip. The room was of very small size, layout was very poor. Could barely move in bathroom as it was very small. 2. Food here is very bad and expensive too. Nothing seems to be of good quality. 3. Service from the entire staff was way below par. There was no interest in serving customers among the staff no matter what. There were instances where the staff tried to ignore or postpone the request made. Definitely not worth the price paid. 4. Our room had an electricity issue where if we switch on the heater, electricity would go off for the entire room. Instead of taking interest in fixing the issue, the staff actually told they will look into it the next day. Thankful that there were 2 blankets and the room was a bit warm, else we would have had a difficult time in below 7 degree weather. 5. Our friends who came with us, had a hard time getting the key to the room. It took more than 30 min to get the key. The staff was not at all efficient in this. The above review is very specific to Summit hotel in Darjeeling. We had also stayed in a Summit property in Gangtok where we had a contradictory experience of pure bliss.

This hotel is kind of a permanent stay for all our family members and relatives. Love the view..staffs are polite and gentle. It’s a perfect place to stay if you want to watch the mountains from your room.

Writing on behalf of my parents : Amitava Banerjee My parents loved their stay. The manager (Mr Saha) helped them out with their needs and was welcoming. They stayed for 2 nights in the premium view room, and was satisfied with their stay! Staff were well behaved and equipped! Food quality and taste could be improved a little to suit the taste of people coming from all states!

The location is good, near to the mall and you can walk around easily to the tourist destinations. However the service needs to improve a lot. For a simple bottel of water we had to wait for half a day. The food from the restaurant is also not great. The management has to be much better Overall the hotel is cosy only the service has to improve a lot.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. We will forward these requests to the hotel; however, please note that the hotel may or may not be able to accommodate them depending on availability at the time of check-in. Adani One does not collect GSTIN details on behalf of the hotelier, you may request this information directly from the hotelier during the check-in process.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
