The Astor - The avoidable ! If you are looking at this property because you thought its a 4 star - meaning it would be at the level of other 4 star hotels - then be ready to be disappointed, really disappointed! The room given to us was one with zero windows. Having stayed at similarly classified properties many times over, I found it difficult to recall others that didn't have a window! Needless to say, it meant zero sunlight and no option to let the stale air out of the room. This when it was a smoking room! Apparently, most rooms in the hotel don't have windows!! It also raises questions of safety, if there were a fire outside the room door there is absolutely no way out other than thru the inferno!! Part of the food delivered in room service was cold! The lack of checks and balances at such an esteemed property is baffling! Moreover, while billing, please be aware of a service charge levied on already expensive room service prices (which naturally have service costs built in). The fact that the hotel did not voluntarily point out the service charge also brings to question the intent of running an honest business. There are also no elevators in the property (which was never mentioned on booking), which could be particularly challenging for senior citizens. The only saving grace is a hard working and sincere staff trying to hold a crumbling place together, but they like anyone else also have their limits. It's appalling that an institute which has built its reputation over time is willing to let go of it all so easily and is also ok to short change its customers.

Astor has always been a special place to hangout since our childhood. The warmth & hospitality of the staff & quality of food for more than 4 decades brings me back to this place. It has a special place in my hearth !! Best Wishes Always

I recently had the pleasure and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. **Room (5/5):** The room was impeccably clean and tastefully decorated. I was particularly impressed with the spaciousness. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing me with a restful night's sleep. **Service (5/5):** The staff were top-notch. From the moment I arrived, they were welcoming, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. Their professionalism was evident in every interaction. **Facilities (4/5):** The resort offers a range of facilities, including a fantastic pool area, a well-equipped gym, and a spa. I spent most of my time by the pool, enjoying the serene atmosphere. The only minor drawback was that the spa was fully booked during my stay. **Food and Dining (4/5):** The on-site restaurant offered a diverse menu with delicious options. Breakfast, in particular, was a highlight with a variety of fresh fruits and pastries. However, I wished the dinner menu had more vegetarian choices. **Value for Money (5/5):** Considering the quality of service and the overall experience, I believe it offers excellent value for the price paid.

We got the ground floor room. Right next to the reception. The whole night there were sounds and noises and raucous laughter outside our door. Sleep was impossible. Housekeeping did not do a good job on the days we were away. The washroom was barely cleaned. Only the day we stayed in, did they make an effort. Except the single room on the ground floor, all other rooms were upstairs and the place doesn't have elevators... Which is a big problem.

The best thing about this hotel is its convenient location. Food is good. And one can spend some quiet evening time in the bar. Starters, I had ordered veg platter was really nice. Enjoyed my time there.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. Adani One does not collect GSTIN details on behalf of the hotelier, you may request this information directly from the hotelier during the check-in process.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
