Location was very good. It was very beautiful surrounded by tea garden. However, the service was very poor and slow. Buggy, house-keeping were not coming. And room was not as good as we expected. The window couldn't be closed due to bad construction quality. We asked for closing it and the weather was very cold outside. One maintainence guy came and tried to close it but he couldn't. He said that he will fix it in the next morning in this cold winter weather! And they said that changing room is not possible. It was the worst service I had among the hotels in the entire India.

Thanks to aayatana for a wonderful family stay they ensured for us. We had a pleasant experience staying at this amazing property. The property is located in deep natural beauty of tea estates and gave us unique experience!! It is very well maintained, comfortable. Staff is very polite, prompt and gave an exceptional service to make our stay comfortable. Food is delicious and all the meals served were yumm. I would surely recommend my friends to visit and enjoy the real Ooty there!! There are activities for kids too for good tine pass and fun.

I would want to break this review down for the 3 star rating which i consider is Good. 1. First star goes for there service , staff was really amazing and very helpful, receptionist suresh was very kind. May it is room service or service in the restaurant, they have excellent staff who are very nice people. 2.second star goes for there rooms , very well designed cottages. Very clean , they have a smart TV which is a plus . The view was also really good. 3. Third star goes to the taste of food which I really liked , although they can definitely improve on the menu. Taste wise they have done a good job. Now the reason for cutting down the two stars…(please note before you book) 1. Do not book this location if you want to use the SPA and want to have a staycation setup , although there website says Ayatana resort & Spa , this place does not have a spa and you will be disappointed if you are planning a staycation 2. Yes they have a fireplace inside your room or they do arrange private bon fire behind your room(balcony) , but they charge a whooping 1500/-rs plus tax for it and the wood logs they get doesn’t last for more than 20 mins , this has to change. The room charges are expensive and this extra charge for a bon fire of 30 mins is a disappointment again. 3. If you have bought dinner buffet , please note that you will not be allowed to carry your food to your room. Let’s say you have a group of friends who plan to party late and eat late after a drink , well there restaurant closes at 10:30pm , dinner won’t be served after that and yes if you plan to serve your food to a plate and take it to your room and have it later , well it’s not allowed (not sure why they have this , while the big guns like taj or hyatt allow this ) 4. Yes, this place has a very serene vibe however this place is bit far from Ooty. And DO NOT , DO NOT step out during the night trusting google maps because the map does not recognise the right route and you will be lost. The place is very remote and you will be lost in a remote area. Absolutely doesn’t feel safe. The resort does not have any signboards to guide you , not sure why a resort of a such big chain does not have sign boards or advertisement boards to guide and show the remaining distance. 5. No much activities if you are planning a staycation, resorts or home stays around the same area are offering a lot of activities. This resort only has archery and a rope activity for kids nothing else to do 6. Taking of one star for the room as a heater is definitely recommended, the rooms get freezing cold because of the granite and the sheet roofing. So a heater is needed

We visited this mesmerizing resort on 22nd Jan. Initially we thought of staying there for a day but after the way their hospitality we were overhelmed and extended till 24th of Jan. I truly recommend this resort for a mesmorising eexperience. Trust me they are epitome of it when it comes to Hospitality. The food at Tycoon was absolutely delicious. The satff of it are very well at their service. Overall our experience was great and it will be an another add on to our memories. Thank you team Ayatana - Ooty.

Away from the busy ooty. A great place to relax. Not many activities or anything but rooms are cozy and comforting. Great place to enjoy a quiet stay and relax. Food was okay. Great service.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
