The hotel is situated near MG Marg in Gangtok, within a walkable distance of approximately 5 minutes. The road from MG Marg to the hotel is a bit steep, which may pose a challenge for those with ankle problems. However, once you enter the hotel, it provides a beautiful environment with a Tibetan-themed decor. From our room, we enjoyed a splendid view of MG Marg and Kanchenjunga. The breakfast spread is impressive, offering multiple options such as North Indian, South Indian, and English dishes. The food tasted delicious. The staff members are genuinely humble and welcoming, with a special mention for Ms. Dipa Das. We encountered her during breakfast, and she was always smiling and ready to provide everything we asked for. Overall, if you're comfortable walking on mountain roads for a maximum of 10 minutes, this hotel is a must-stay in Gangtok.

Stayed here for 3 + 2 days, first 3 days in lower floor , inside the room was excellent but the view of mountains was little blocked. 2nd phase was in higher floor room was similar , vew was excellent but house keeping services was not per expectation. Room heater is available on demand can be included as a part during winter. Switch buttons requires to be checked on regular basis and not the basis of complaints.

Would highly recommend Yangthang heritage hotel. I Stayed here for 2 night in Jan end ,This is a fabulous property 6 to 8 minutes walk away from M.G Marg, which has loads of eating joints and shopping options. The rooms are quite spacious and have an old world charm thanks to the extensive wood panelling & flooring. If the weather is clear you can view Kanchenjunga from the higher floors. The staff is polite & helpful, particularly Anoop & Upasana on the front desk, i got an early check in without any fuss..They even offered to pack me sandwiches since i was checking out at 4 a.m . The breakfast buffet is decent in choices and tasty. I was confused whether to pay a slight premium over similarly rated hotels , i am glad that i did , it was definitely worth it ))).

An amazing experience whilst in India. Especially Deepa in Restaurant deserves millions of kudos. She has always went the extra mile taking care of all expressed and unexpressed needs. Truly great place to stay with excellent views of snow capped peaks straight from the bed.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
