About Baghdad Airport

Baghdad International Airport, located approximately 16 km west of downtown Baghdad, is the largest airport in Iraq. It is a joint civil-military airport and is operated by the Iraq government. It is also the home base for Iraqi Airways and Fly Baghdad. This airport is designed in a way that can support both civil and military operations. The Passenger Terminal is divided in three concourses: A, B, and C that are known as Nineveh Terminal, Babylon Terminal, and Samara Terminal, respectively. It also has other facilities such as a duty-free store, currency exchange, post office, restaurants, snacks bars, and prayer rooms. The airport is well-connected to the city by bus routes.
