About Moscow Airport

Due to the population and stature of this city, Moscow has three international airports. The first one is Sheremetyevo Airport (IATA code: SVO) which is situated 12 km from the city centre. The airport has many terminals named C, D, E, and F. The D, E, and F terminals lie next to each other while the C is on the opposite side of the airfield. The second airport is Domodedovo Airport (IATA code: DME) which is situated 45 km from the city centre. It has only one terminal that caters to both domestic and international traffic. The first floor serves domestic departures while the second floor is for international departures.

And the third one is Vnukovo Airport (IATA code: VKO). It is the closest airport to Moscow city centre as it lies 10 km from MKAD ring road. It has three terminals namely A, B, and D. And Terminal D serves arrivals from North-Caucasus as of now. All three terminals are closely located. However, you need to go outside to move from terminal A to B.
