About Hanoi Airport

Hanoi is the capital city of Vietnam and was established about 1,000 years ago by Lý Thái Tổ, the first ruler of the Ly dynasty. The streets of Hanoi are bustling with rich history and the culture of the city sings the days of Chinese and French colonialism.

Since the 1950s, Hanoi has been serving as a major centre for industry and agriculture. While the manufacturing sector includes tools, motors, generators, plywood and textiles, the agricultural sector comprises rice, fruits and vegetables.

Hanoi is much more than its history and culture. From congested ancient roads to modern skyscrapers, the city has only the best to offer to its tourists. The food, the cafe culture, the art galleries and the world-class restaurants should be explored to get a proper taste of Hanoi. Visit the Hoan Kiem Lake for a relaxing stroll, sign up for a walking food tour in the Old quarters while enjoying the French colonial architecture, go for a water puppet show, or just spend a lazy evening drinking bia hoi, also known as “the world’s cheapest beer”!

A tour of Hanoi is incomplete without getting a taste of authentic street food. Mien Xao Luon( Noodles and Fried eel), Nem Cua Be( Crab spring rolls), and Banh Tom( Fried shrimp cake) are some of the must-try dishes in Hanoi.

For shopping enthusiasts, there’s an array of top-class markets such as the Bat Trang Ceramic Village for handicrafts, Zeds Threads for amazing clothes, or the Van Phuc Silk village for silk goods.
