        Serious hygiene issues. Very tiny rooms with a very bad smell, stinky bed sheets. No pillows covers. Was very worried kids will get some sort of a decease. Had to sanitize all we touch and shower with flip flops. Was very hard to sleep because of the bad smell. Lots of bugs and mosquitoes. Unfriendly and not professional staff- we travel a lot in SA and never ever encountered such bad treatment. Dirty plates and non hygienic kitchen which prepares quite dangerously not fresh food. "Generator out of order", so most of the day no electricity and no wi fi. Seems like this place used to have good reviews till 2020, which we relayed on upon booking, but then the owners changed and it became a disaster. Since 2 years back there is not even one authentic good review. Pretty much ruined our vacation, will never come back and always check only recent reviews.

        The first room we got was smelly and very small and poor. Hence we offered to upgrade and pay more for a slightly bigger room but the same bad condition. Sometimes there is no electricity in the morning, no Wi-Fi, no breakfast even though we paid for it. We didn't feel like they cared if we were happy or not. I do not recommend.

        This place has really bad hygiene, I had linen and pillows (not the pillow covers, the actual pillows) which had a really bad smell, asked for it to be changed and it didn’t happen - how can you expect someone to sleep on pillows that stink?! The service was also poor. Cleanliness and hygiene is seriously questionable.

        We booked and paid through the Agoda App and received a confirmation of booking for 5 nights.when we arrived on the day of check in , we were informed that our booking was cancelled because of fraudulent details and was told to get other accommodation, we left devastated, the staff was ruth and abrupt, I will never let any of my family book there !!!

        I had an amazing experience at 40 Winks Guest House. Situated within 5-15 minutes of the tourist hot spots in Cape Town. The rooms were squeaky clean and very neat with a working heater. Friendly and helpful staff. Worth every cent.

          Booking Policy
          It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.
          The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.
          Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.
          If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.
          Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.
          Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.
          The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.
          Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.
