        We had a great stay here, only for one night. We checked in after our long flight from the US. The hotel staff were phenomenal, even sending a bottle of champagne to our room, my birthday was the day before. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff in general, just great. My son lost his phone outside the hotel as we were heading to the train station. Luckily a very nice person found it, we called them and they returned it to the front desk. The front desk worked with me to get it Barcelona for us to pick up. They packaged it, really well, and labeled it, even texted me when it was picked up. I can't say enough about the staff and the hotel. Great recommendations and super nice people.

        I have used the Marriott for a very long time and always found it quite reliable especially when traveling on business, so I expected the same with this hotel. I’ve even lived in one of its residences and have always been happy with the service. However, this Marriott is horrible. The staff at the front desk was so rude that I am sure that I will never use this hotel again. I’ve had two interactions with this staff and both times, he was condescending, unpleasant, and rude. He only started acting friendly when I expressed my frustration. The room, at first glance, looks clean. However, I was overwhelmed by the smell of cigarettes and the toilet had not been cleaned. Thankfully, the windows open unlike most hotels these days. The gym is not a gym. There is one treadmill and two stationary bicycles. That’s it. There is nothing else in this gym. No free weights, nothing. Just an empty space with lots of towels. Not coming back here and I must say once again, the staff at reception is the rudest hotel staff I have met in my entire life.

        The hotel is very close to the train station. You would never know as it is very quiet. The hotel is nice but with black walls it makes the interior very dark. The room has plenty of space for two people. The odd thing was the shower was in the middle of the room for all to watch you shower. The breakfast was expensive for 20 euros each. We only had it for one morning.

        The staff were friendly, the bar was nice and it was well connected in terms of location. The rooms were lovely inside but I found the bed hard, and the walls were thin you could hear the cleaners early in the morning people walking in the corridor even snoring through the walls one night. The breakfast had limited gluten free options, yoghurt boiled egg bananas, they did have some gf cereal but it was open and next to normal cereal which would have cross contamination. Nice coffee and juices! The gym was very small and limited would be great to get some weights in there

        Pro: 1. Definitely great room, clean and large. Especially it s very quiet in the building in the garden. Sound-proofing is quite good in the room as well, no need to worry about noisy neighbors. 2. Good location, very near to the station, but you don't hear the noise from trains etc. 3. Service: the reception staff are very kind. Com: 1. Although the breakfast is standard / not bad, Please absolutely avoid ordering food through room service. I ordered a beef hamburger with iberian ham and cheese - look what i got - barely a piece of ham, bread i thought was biscuit since it was so hard. Absolutely terrible! I hope this is only one-off. Doesn't live to Marriot standard.
