        Stayed there for 3 days, didn’t need room service, and I called the get a bar soap, they said they don’t have bar soap, they asked me to use the soap in the shower, I was very confused. The next day I went straight to the cleaners and asked for a soap, they have bar soaps in the cart, I really don’t understand why they refused to give me a bar soap. Our room was clean and modern, but unfortunately they gave us an inside facing room. Therefore, we looked out the window and only could see three walls in the shaft. No natural daylight could come down the shaft, so it always looked dark and gloomy. When I checked out, I was eating at the lobby, the couch area said no food allowed, breakfast are said all reserved, so I was eating very quickly at the bar. The concierge then brought a very big sign from the conference area that said “No Food Allowed”, which was very embarrassing, especially since there wasn’t a sign at the bar area saying no food allowed. Finally, the coffee machine in the room was very disgusting. I ran two full bottles of water through it just to clean it out, but the water was still murky and smelly. Definitely not durable to make a coffee. Very disappointed in paying top dollar for a premium hotel and getting a substandard experience.

        Great hotel! I prefer to stay a bit grungy in the Shinjuku district, but this was a really nice upscale way to and our trip. If you are looking for American luxury, this is it. Don't miss breakfast because it's the BOMB!

        Great location, beautiful hotel and very nice staff, the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, is that if you get a lower level floor (we were on floor four), it may be hard to sleep at night depending upon how active the streets outside are. We brought a pocket white noise machine for our trip so it didn't bother us, but if we didn't have that it would've been a little tough to sleep.

        Stayed in this property for my recent business trip in Japan. It was the first time that i booked with this property as it happened to the be peak season and all hotels were full. However that said, am glad i made this decision. The experience was pleasant from arrival to departure. Upon arrival, i was informed that room was upgraded, however, i was early, they would need some more time to prepare the room and asked what time i will be back as I told them that i would need to run some errands. Hours later when I returned, the room was ready, and i was glad that my requests were kept in mind (room near the elevator, king-sized bed etc) and most importantly they gave me a room that was facing the ‘city’ instead of ‘no view’. The room was clean, neat and spacious, unlike what was reviewed by other guests. Speed of service was commendable, I requested for laundry service, the next day, my laundry was picked up and was delivered earlier and nicely folder and ironed. Having been on the road for more than a week, nothing beats staying in a hotel that is comfortable, cosy and definitely made the last leg of the business trip less tiring before returning back to home. And of cos, location was great as it was within walking distance to my meeting venue and its in Ginza. Will definitely be back be it leisure or business! 👍🏻👍🏻

        Over 20 years loyal to Marriott, and this experience pretty much sums up the level of their service post quarantine. Arriving first time from NY, I was hoping my room my available. I checked in. No thanks for gold/platinum elite. He just says your room isn’t ready maybe this afternoon. He points to a corner with a bunch of stuff and said I could leave my luggage and come back this afternoon. It’s 6am local time on a Sunday…. Where am I going???? He doesn’t give me a water or any recommendations on what to do for 6-7 hours. I said is there a place to sit. He points to a couch. First experience in Tokyo and I am Not impressed. I cancelled and went to another hotel. On the basis of check in, I wouldn’t recommend. And it’s a nice area but not around in the form of shopping or dining.
