Weird that I never received a survey from Marriott on this property, as I'm a lifelong (35 years plus) member of Marriott Bonvoy. That said, Google reviews will have to suffice. Service was good, not great. Checking in was fine, but we received an email the next day apologizing that an extras 50 Euro per day would be added to the bill for our second room (where our 3 sons stayed). This turned out to be a recurring theme in Spain, where rooms are generally limited to 2 occupants per night, and any extras are an extra charge. No biggie. Room was fine for my wife and myself. The only thing is the shower overlooks the bed, and the shower/toilet area is just frosted glass, and the door is glass, about 4 feet from the bed. Fine for us old married couples, not so good for those not comfortable with biological imperatives in a young relationship. The hotel is in an outstanding location, within walking or subway (metro) distance of pretty much anything in Madrid. That said, my reason for the 2 star. The parking. Wow, the parking. We rented a larger (for Spain) SUV so my wife, 3 sons, and all of our baggage (and we packed light) could drive through Spain. Needless to say, the parking at this hotel rates a -1. It is a twisty descent down a ONE WAY ramp to areas that have 2-3 parking spaces (the hotel is admittedly small). If someone is coming up or down the ramp (there are red/green lights to help), you are seriously screwed...back up, or the other person backs up--in a corkscrew of a ramp that has MAYBE 6 inches of clearance on either side. We didn't choose the "other" option, so if off-site parking is a bit more expensive, but not nearly as sweat-inducing as the AC Recoletos, take it. Worth not having the stress, If you take the parking option at the hotel, please note the wall and the plastic/rubber mats lining the wall...proof that I am not insane or a troll. Many a car has hit those walls! Overall, the hotel is a solid 3. Nice rooms for a large city, small but fine. Bathroom/toilets are an issue. Parking is insane, and drops any reasonable ranking into 2-3 range. Location is a 5. Staff were a solid 4.

We splurged and had a suite for five days. It was one of the nicest rooms we’ve stayed in. The staff are superb, perfect English and the location is great with lots of restaurants, cafes and bars nearby. Also there is a jazz bar in the basement of the hotel which we enjoyed. When in Madrid, say at the AC Recoletos.

This lovely hotel is truly a gem. We just finished a 10 day stay and loved the entire staff. The hotel had a boutique charm to it, modern and cozy. The hotel restaurant has very nice breakfasts and at night a bar and light fare as well. The hotel is located in one of the most vibrant areas of Madrid. Outdoor and indoor cafes, shops and restaurants. The Prado and Sorolla Museums are within walking distance or a quick 5-10 minute cab ride. Cabs are very reasonable and Uber as well. Madrid is an extremely fun walkable city. We totally enjoyed both museums. Joaquin Sorolla was an extraordinary artist in the impressionist style. The museum is housed in his magnificent original mansion. We found the Madrid people friendly and helpful. We would choose the AC Recoletos again if we return to Madrid.

Clean and well situated hotel. Just outside the madness of Madrid. Very accommodating staff. We came back from our dinner in Christmas Eve and they whipped up some European hot chocolate and cookies for all nine of us.

I was extremely happy with this hotel. Love the location and the style of the place. The size of the hotel feels more like that of a boutique hotel and the service was excellent. I will definitely stay here the next time I’m in Madrid.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
