        This hotel was a pleasant surprise. The rooms are huge, amenities were great (gym was solid and equipped with towels and free water), and the pool area was heated. Staff was pleasant too. I think weekend pricing may not be worth it, but overall it was a great location. I would stay here again.

        Reliable Bonvoy service and quality located in the heart of River North (Chicago's tourist, shopping, and restaurant hub). Nice indoor pool, very small workout room, and seasonal outdoor deck. There's also a restaurant and lounge which I did not check out. There's a breakfast for a fee, but coffee and danishes are available each morning for free. The rooms are very modern and good sized and the hotel is clean overall. However, I found it in need of a refresh. My floor tiles were warped, there were cigarette burns on the curtains, and in the halls the wallpaper was peeling in places. This hotel is several years old, and there have been a number of newer, small, boutique hotels to open since the AC came to Chicago. It's obvious the competi5 is fierce, and COVID was brutal on all of these properties. Hopefully they will get a facelift soon. The staff are so nice and helpful, as to be expected of a Bonvoy property.

        It's okay but not great. This hotel is definitely not the same quality as other hotels in the AC Hotels brand. Our room had a variety of issues and was overall pretty beaten up, despite being a modern design. The bathroom counter was chipped and the sink was cracked. The shower door frame was missing a metal cover plate. The balcony door did not seal well and let in a lot of noise from the street. The balcony was pretty dirty and unappealing overall, with no furniture or anything out there. On the plus side, the TV was a decent size and there were more than enough power outlets for all of our devices. Some of the staff are really nice and helpful, others not so much. We called down about an hour before we checked out because the toilet was clogged; the operator promised someone would be right up but no one ever came. We ended up just using the bathroom in the lobby.

        Pretty nice place. What i liked best? The fact that there wasn't hotel literature on top of every piece of furniture. What i don't like, nobody bothering to relay the amenities, breakfast hours, etc.

        This is our 2nd time staying here. Kids love it here and in such a great location. Everyone is so nice here!! Jacob took care of my requests, and he's so kind. Oh, it's also Dog friendly! We brought our husky the last time.
