        While the rooms are small, they are very functional and cozy. Great Location with a subway line just a few feet away. The vibes are right and it was definitely nice to come home to the Ace after a long day of exploring and shopping. Also, the music piping through the building is top notch.

        Best stay ever! Modern and classic spacious size of room, very friendly front desk, easy high quality shopping downstairs, steps to station, free late checkout (when there is no other booking after), besides, the shampoo is so good. It’s so ‘open-minded’ to the public, you can really just enjoy you coffee and reading/studying/working/chatting in the open area with charger spots even if you are not a guest.

The hotel impressively blends modern luxury with traditional Japanese design. The room was spacious and elegantly minimalist, providing a comfortable haven after days spent leaf-viewing. Service was exceptional, and the central location was ideal for exploring Kyoto's scenic beauty. The dining experience was a delightful fusion of local and international flavors. The only downside, resulting in a 9 out of 10 score, is the high pricing, which might be a consideration for budget-conscious travelers.         Favourite hotel in Japan. The hotel is a great mix of modernity and traditional Kyoto charm. A standout feature of the hotel is the spaciousness of the room. The room itself was airy, with ample space to move around and relax. But what truly sets Ace Hotel Kyoto apart is its people. From the moment my taxi pulled up to the entrance, the reception staff exhibited a warmth and hospitality that felt both genuine and welcoming. They were prompt in assisting with my luggage and ensured a seamless check-in process. In a world where the nuances of hospitality can often be overlooked, Ace Hotel Kyoto strikes the perfect balance between modern luxury and heartfelt service. It's a fantastic hotel by all standards and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

        We had a lovely stay at the Ace Hotel Kyoto, and could not recommend it more! The service was excellent, the place beautiful, and the rooms tastefully furnished. Special mention and thanks to the concierge/lobby staff for helping me retrieve my lost bag. I’d forgotten my bag on the train and the lobby gurus went through so much trouble to help me get it back!

          Booking Policy
          It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.
