It's a great place to stay in Edinburgh with a low budget. The room is spacious and clean with enough amenities. The staff was nice and friendly. Convenient to go to the centre by bus or tram.

I am disappointed by the room... I understand it's a low budget hotel and I was not expecting a great comfort but... I thought I'd have a minimum of cleanliness... I found bedbugs on my bed and apparently it's not the first time someone notices bugs in the rooms... meaning the cleaning is not done regularly... Apart from that, the room was big and nice. It is a pity for the bugs.

🚨🚨🚨BEWARE OF BEDBUGS🚨🚨🚨 TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. There were bedbugs in our beds, we had the room 4 (see the pictures). And the receptionist was rude and unprofessional when we asked him to call his manager for a refund. He LAUGHED at us when we gently told him we couldn't sleep in the beds. I had to sleep in the SHOWER and my friend on a CHAIR. This is a shame. The room was DIRTY and has not been cleaned in a while. We saw an earplug behind the bed that has been there since at least May, as a review from Booking can attest. We asked for a refund but the manager refused to come and see us in the morning (he apparently lives far and couldn't be there in less than 3 hours). So we paid £70 a night to sleep on a chair or in the shower.

It is really horrible! Nothing that I can think of a positive! Room absolutely rigid and uncomfortable - you can't move your feet anywhere ..baggage- oh! Preferably keep it in the head or be a partner while sleeping! Take your phone while in side the bathroom- 100% you will be stuck with no option to even make half a step . Never dream of closing the door for it won't in any case.. carpeted room with a dirty look, after 10 minutes the receptionist disappeared and no access!! If someone is really struggling to find any accommodation anywhere, only should chose - the price is not that cheap either,,, better to sleep in the car I would guess . Car park ... ha ha ... a joke .. I was waiting for the morning to escape from this nightmare In my 57 years of travelling- I have not found one of this type
