I did not stay in the hotel but had a late lunch (3pm) in the hotel’s restaurant “Dulcis in Fundo”. This is a complete turist trap. Do not eat here. It is a poor culinary experience! The food is average at best, the bread was stale and not such a good service. Yes, we looked for lunch too late for Italian eating times but still, this restaurant is really not worth the effort. The view is amazing though, so maybe stop to have some expresso?

This hotel is a SHAM. We have non refundable reservations for tonight. We have been in contact with them all day. Our travels were delayed, to which we informed Ai Quarti Sottani. When we arrived at 9:30 pm, they were closed, doors locked and lights were all out. No response by phone nor did they answer the door. We are without a room to stay and very far from home. Worse, there is another person standing outside the door who also had reservations and cannot get checked into his room either. I strongly advise you stay as far away from this hotel as possible. At least 2 reservations in 1 night have been locked out. Purely a sham.

The structure is located next to one of the most important squares in the historic center of Matera, the view just outside the hotel is just stupendous (Murgia park). The room, however, was modern, with soft lighting and very romantic and with some improvements it could certainly be made even better. The only thing I didn't like so much was the bathroom, beautiful in black glass with a very spacious shower but inside it was poorly lit, a single light bulb and wearing make-up in those conditions wasn't the best. The bathroom ventilation fan was also connected to this light, which was a bit slow, in fact some odors had also reached the room. Other than that, we really liked the room. The hotel is under new management, it does not have a reception, it does everything itself and I appreciate this decision. Shortly before our arrival we had been provided with a list of nearby car parks (the structure was in a restricted traffic zone), a guide on what to see, how to get there and a bit of history of the various nearby points of interest, and above all what and where to eat: ). In the evening, however, a message was sent to find out the taste of the filling of the brioches taken from a local bakery and delivered hot in the morning, together with a focaccia which was spectacular. I highly recommend it for visiting the spectacular city of Matera.

AVOID THIS HOTEL! Worst hotel experience of my life. Hotel closed before I could arrive so I could not check in. How does a hotel close? Guests should come first but management more concerned with their employee than the guests. Appalled at their lack of basic customer service. Horrible management!

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
