        We stayed 5 nights in the family room, me and three teens. Solid value for money. Older wooden buildings, but the owners really do a great job in the areas that matter, not bothering with upgrading things that might jack the price up. Bathrooms are clean with modern fittings; the beds are comfy with crisp cotton sheets; and there's a heat pump/AC in the bedroom. Our room had a kitchenette with a full size fridge and freezer, a sink, stove, and oven, but no extractor fan or openable windows, which limits how you can use it. The kitchen table seats 4; the bedroom had a king and a single; the living room had two singles and one comfy chair. There's a coin laundry downstairs, free parking and Wifi. All perfect for our needs with no unnecessary bells and whistles. Just a short walk to the Westfield Mall in Newmarket, which is so convenient, as is SH1 motorway access (traffic noise is not an issue). The only things we would suggest are a chopping board and bottle opener and a couple of minor maintenance items (bedroom door handle was broken), but we would definitely choose to stay here again.

        December 2023 for 4 nights.. Staff in office and restaurant went out of their way to make us welcome and very accommodating making changes to our itinerary . Rooms tidy and quiet from road noise, and the little restaurant did delicious meals. Thankyou Ernest!

        i had to extend my stay because of a cancelled gig. all staff very obliging and helpful. dated facility, but with that comes spaciousness and ease of access . i would like to see some more art on the walls, which were blank, unnecessarily so in this era. during my stay, beds were upgraded. yay! close to Newmarket shops, supermarkets, and restaurants. less than an hour'a walk to the city. on main public transport routes. walk to cornwall park. swimming pool 20mins walk. much quieter than CBD hotels. there is a café on site and meals available part of the week. the coffee from the café was great. if you dont need to party all the time in the CBD, this is an excellent option.

        Brilliant location, getting to the sites I had to visit with work and after work was very easy. The lady at reception was friendly and efficient. She demonstrated how to use the after-hours code and kept information nice and simple. The room was an interesting combination of a fantastic bed with very nice, tasteful bedding, with other furnishings being a little dated. The bathroom was spotless and reasonably modern. There was plenty of bench space in the room and I appreciated the extra mirror outside of the bathroom. The air conditioning was quick to adjust the room temperature and it was nice to have a little balcony. Overall I was surprised at how quiet it was given the proximity to busier roads. I slept extremely well, which also surprised me as I don't typically sleep well even at home. I didn't eat on-site so can't comment on the quality of the food but I would stay here again.

          It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

          Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.
