        It was when COVID19 was scared by people all over the world. Few people stayed hotels nor had eating out. I only had a lunch here so not possible to review the room. However, basic service of this hotel can be observed by lunch experience. The hotel staff followed us wherever we went as if we were visiting North Korea where foreigners are constantly under investigation. Still from hotel guests' perspective, this could be appreciated as the hotel tries to keep the security for their guests. Regarding restaurant, Japanese food was very refined and tasty. It was fun to talk with the chef. He kindly explained ingredients and how to cook. The staff who monitored our behavior within hotel premises served a glass of wine, ONLY20cc! Perhaps due to COVID19, this luxury hotel was struggling to keep the end. But it was miserable and uncomfortable... Hope things are now normalized, and the hotel is on the way to get enough revenue to cover its costly investment.

        Gorgeous room, albeit furniture is slightly run down and should be repaired. Poor view from my room. Service and staff are 5 perfect. They are very attentive. Location is good, although there can be more small amenities on the property. Some benches to sit and admire the views would be nice. The onsen is great.

        One of the greatest hotel I’ve ever stayed. The moss magically covered Entire resort floor like where elf lives. Room r great , breakfast is perfect , the lounge and dining place is just as classic as it is . And you can even go on a hike and explore the trails . For an animal lover like me , I tend to see so much nature preserved in the place , the spring water ran thru the entire place ,the pound , the creek and the light even at its minimum at night not to interrupt the insects. We were late for the night dinning , and the crew wait for us till we show up in the late evening Which you could tell they r extremely caring their guests. I would love to come back again to this amazing nature preserved Devine place. Thank you for the amazing spiritual experiences in Aman Kyoto .

        What i love here: - Location. Is peaceful , by the mountain . - Landscape simple natural. Nothing special, but relaxing - Room is nicely decorated, good quality material, amenities, skin care set . - main Restaurant is nice , delicious and cozy What make me disappointed: - Small SPA AND VIEW from the spa . Its not about size, it’s about managing space and view .. Relaxing area for tea after Spa not relaxing and too small - I really missed some chair or something to stop, seat during the walk in the park and enjoy .. because only one place where you can get tea or snacks is the main restaurant .. i saw you have few pavilions on the hill for the rooms , why there cannot be Spa? Because view from the rooms to be honest almost the same . - Need more trees to cover public road for the cars.. its make us feel that we still not in deep forest as you advertised. Its also not very private

        Hi Aman Kyoto Aside from the phenomenal experiences that I had at Aman Tokyo and Amanemu, I will definitely categorize the efforts of Aman Kyoto as the most accommodating and hospitable. I felt instantly connected with Aman Kyoto as I was greeted by the staff upon arrival. Miwako Takahashi was definitely one of the most friendly and kindhearted people that I have ever met amid staying at a hotel in Asia. She was so helpful with navigating her efforts to my needs. Miwako helped me locate an adequate clinic to receive a PCR test. I felt like she truly understood me linguistically as sometimes it is hard to explain the differentiations of the proper PCR test. Even though it was a strife to organize all of my luggage upon check out, Miwako managed to think fast and assist me with airport transportation, settling payment, and a devoted smile of kindness. Yuka Yamada was so kind and welcoming to me when I arrived. I’m really happy that I was able to be accommodated by her efforts at Aman Kyoto. I wish her the best of luck on her journey as a mother. I really enjoyed talking about life in America and the differences between living in the countryside betwixt taking on life in the city. It really surprised me with amazement when she asked me if I would like her to have a staff member run the bath water for me so it is full when I return from dining. She’s so wonderful. Before I expatriated to the busy city of Seoul, I used to journey on trails with my father in Maryland. I remember riding on my bicycle with him and appreciating the breeze of the wind. So to be led by such a knowledgeable and kindhearted guide as Sakura was so fulfilling. I really enjoyed bicycling through the neighborhood with Sakura as she seems to know everything about Kyoto. I’ve never met such a devoted person to hospitality and nature as Sakura. I’m deeply thankful to her as she introduced me back to the serenity of bicycling and also navigated a friendly and amazing guide for me to travel to Mount Hiei; Mr. Masu. Regardless of the limited availability, I really enjoyed the spa. I have never witnessed such a beautiful and authentic environment to run such a business. Oftentimes in our perception of materialism, hotel spas are structured to be a sign of temporary luxuries. But I did not feel this with the spa of Aman Kyoto. I felt an immense sense of peacefulness and togetherness with nature. I felt emotionally sheltered and spiritually reset. As I am a person who loves nature, it was really wonderful to see the beautiful green trees amidst the onsen and to hear the raindrops fall onto the gravel in the evening. I think the performance of the Shiatsu was the best that I’ve ever had. Mr. Doi and the staff lady from Italy were wonderfully outgoing and kind. Will I ever find such a beautiful spa other than the nestled abode at Aman Kyoto? I’ve traveled to many places but I have never experienced such authentic perfection such as Aman Kyoto.           Booking Policy
          It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.
          The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.
          Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.
          If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.
          Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.
          Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.
          The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.
