Nice place to see the animals on a safari, otherwise a bit bare around the resort, there's a lot of tree plantations around, but they are wrapped to protect them so not much around there. They were not good with communication prior to our arrival, which is a shame as you have to be in contact with them to get on the Island. we Lost a lot of time having to wait for the ferry for hours in a place where's there's nothing around there. This was due to their poor communication. The staff at the island tried to make it up but there's nothing really you can do to make up the waisted time. An upgrade is nice gesture but could be done anyway when the resort is almost empty. Staff were nice on the Island. It's a long drive from abu dhabi and even longer from Dubai, but a good trip if you have not been on safari in africa, then it's a good alternative, even tough nothing like the real experience in Tanzania or Kenya. Nothing much to do in the resort or around , there's no nature or nature trails you could go on your own, no fishes or any life in the sea in front of the villas, you can go for swim though. you need to book and pay for anything you want to do. But the safari I think was worth it if you enjoy seeing animals.

I recently had the most wonderful experience at this resort, and I can't stop raving about it! From the moment we arrived, the staff, especially Yasmin, were incredibly kind and sweet. Yasmin went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. Her professionalism and sweet demeanor made us feel like valued guests. We were deeply impressed by the resort's attention to detail and the genuine warmth of the staff. This experience has left an indelible mark on us, and we are already planning our next visit. Amazing staff, very welcoming and always with a big smile. Rooms are clean and very beautiful… al yamm beach is fantastic. I recommend the resort + they took me around the 3 hotels and if i were to choose ill be struggling. I stayed at al yamm beach villa… the pool comes with a heater so you can swim even if the weather is cold.

An amazing experience, with very knowledgeable tour guides and lovely staff. I enjoyed the stories of the islands history and the different wildlife from our tour guide. Private villa with plunge pool was fantastic and great value as I booked on the off season in June. Golf carts are available for pickup from the villas and transportation between the three properties on the island was also available. Shaded parking is available outside the arrival center on the maidland and ferries are scheduled for 12pm and 3pm. My only suggestion is that breakfast at the villa was not provided. Given the off season and a pregnant wife with me, it would have been a nice touch if that request was accommodated.
