        Probably the worst experience I have ever had in Japan. The only star was given to the location, i think the scores of this hotel are solely contributed by how convenient it is located. THIS HOTEL IS IN NEED OF RENOVATION! Even though my room is a non-smoking room, the ventilation of rooms is really bad. It was full of cigarettes smell and its awful to stay in such a room when you can’t get rid of it. The bathroom is full of stains and the bathroom smells damp and musty next day after showering the previous day. Again, they need a better ventilating system. Last but not least, service. I can see there are comments below saying that the hotel staff is unhelpful and rude. The staff members did reply to the comments but never addressed it, while simply trying to sidetrack it. I myself experienced the same, they are inattentive, not willing to fulfill your requests. They simply care nothing about your experience but trying to extract money from you whenever there’s a chance. The check out time is 10:00am and by 9:50am your TV will be turned on automatically (creepy!) asking if you are extending your stay for an hour or so and will cost you an extra 1,000Yen for each hour. honestly when I was in the room alone - this freaked me out. I feel like they are really money-driven (well, i understand that most businesses are like that) but what in exchange is that people wouldn’t stay in your hotel anymore when you have the wrong approach attaining it. Another thing is that they would clean your hotel every 3rd day on your stay. So for the 1st and 2nd day they would put a bag outside your door with very limited supplies. This is not sth new in Japan but some hotels do replace garbage bag and remove dirty towels for you. They just do the bare minimum. All in all, limited amenities, poor service, out-fashioned interior, dated facilities are what I experienced. You will enjoy staying here only if location is what solely matters to you.

        Honestly, what do people expect for that price? The rooms were small but so are almost all rooms with that pricing in Tokio. The carpet was not the newest and the interior was a bit outdated but other than that it provided everything one would need. Service was great, we got fresh towels and other amenities each day. If you’d need more, you could ask the staff. Which hotel, in that category, provides you with free hairbrushes, toothbrushes, razors, q tips, hairbands, etc? I was honestly surprised. Bed was super comfy and bathroom was good enough equipped. Ventilation wasn’t bad AT ALL. They provide each room with a big humidifier and there is also extra ventilation in the bathroom. Our friend stayed in a smoking room and we wouldn’t notice a cigarette smell. Staff was EXTREMELY helpful. They helped us with a luggage service so we wouldn’t carry them through public transportation ourselves. Service they provided was extremely smooth and our luggage was at the airport on the same day we let them pick up FROM the hotel. Was cheaper than yamato service too. There are a couple of metro station within a 3 minute walk. Numerous restaurants around you and also a lot of convenience stores. Coin Laundry is about 7 minutes away. We were in Ginza within 10-15 minutes. Great value for that price. Would definitely come back again.

        The "face and hand soap" burned the skin around my eyes. I've never experienced that using hotel soap before, but now I will always be sure to bring my own face soap. You have to check-in by yourself at one of the kiosks at the front desk which I guess can be a positive thing for some people, but it was a little troublesome for me. Lastly, I wish I had talked to my partner before letting him decide where to book. I never would've agreed to stay at an APA Hotel.

        One of the worst hotels I’ve been to 🤬🤯 1. The rooms are ridiculously small and anyone higher than 1,5m will definitely have a problem moving around the room. If you travel not alone, you are doomed. 2. I also wouldn’t recommend this hotel’s breakfasts🤢Almost no food for 10$. All you get is basically orange juice and rice. We still had to go out and have breakfast elsewhere so it was a total waste of money. 3. We faced an issue during the check-in as well. The hotel staff were extremely rude and made us wait for extra 3 hrs (!!!) before we could finally get to our room. They didn’t even offer us a glass of water or something while we were forced to wait (and mind it, we were exhausted after the trip and wanted to get to the room and shower so bad). 4. The cleaning was made while we were away without any prior notice (we never left a “please make up the room” sign). It’s not a big deal but a still a bit inappropriate. 5. No one speaks decent English. A common issue here in Japan though. A cleaning lady spoke to me once and she spoke better than everyone at the reception desk!! It was a very frustrating experience overall. We had to stay for 2 more days in Tokyo and rushed to book another hotel for our own peace of mind
