        Nice and friendly staff which was a staple of Japan in our November 2023 trip. The location is excellent and is walking distance from the Kyoto train station which connects to everyplace else. Rooms could have been better designed to make more use of space, but overall cant complain. Do mind that the hotel is centrally heated or cooled so the rooms dont have individual temperature controls, so if you are coming from a cooler place (like us), one might need to open a window.

        Great location just steps away from Kyoto station. Hotel staff were good and even stored my bag before and after checkin. Many food options near by as well as convenience stores. Didn’t get a chance to use the public bath but hotel was equipped with one. Breakfast was buffet style and started bright and early in the morning. The only down side is rooms were very small, this isn’t that unexpected in Japan but two big pieces of luggage and you might be struggling to walk around. And oh make sure you take the A5 or A3 exit from Kyoto station to avoid the walking around.

        Great location in the heart of Kyoto right by the Kyoto station. Rooms were more spacious than regular APA hotels. There is a public bath with hot tubs but no sauna or cold plunge. It was really busy and service at times can be slow but overall I would stay here again.

        I thought it was one of those older APA hotels but it turned out to be better. Room size is decent for 2 people; king bed; super strong free wifi; strong water flow from both tab and shower (drinkable as well). Room is equipped with mini-refrigerator, hairdryer, water kettle, 2 complementary 2 bottle waters and toilet amenities. However, air-conditioning in room is preset to be on heated mode and could not be changed. It would get very stuffy inside and hotel suggested that we open the window for some fresh air, but that would make the room half-cool and half-hot. That perhaps is the only down side I could think of the hotel. Otherwise all else is fine.

        It was so grand, near Kyoto station, near so much food as well. I really loved the design and the facilities. Only downside was that the ventilation was only a heater but it was already so stuffy inside, simply fixed by opening the window since it was end autumn period, the windows are even locked at a certain angle to prevent accidents! Beds are slightly higher so that you can shift your luggage to be kept under them. For the price we got it was very worth it!
