Great price-performance ratio! It smelled like cigarettes in the hallway which was not very nice but I assume it’s because in some rooms you are allowed to smoke. It is quite far away from the next metro station (-15min walk) for us that was fine but just keep it in mind when booking.

For some reason, the shower rooms in hotels in japan sucks. Is like japanese hotel designer thinks that placing a shower, a toilet and a sink in a tiny cubicle is a complete shower/toilet room. They forget (or simply dont care) about providing available space to use the room. It doesn’t matter if you dont have enough space to seat on the toilet. It is not necessary. It doesn’t matter if the faucet in the sink is too short for you to actually get the water you need. Space is not necessary. Shower box is non-existent. The useless curtain is “good enough”. It doesn’t matter that the whole room will get wet. So… it simply sucks. In general I hate the shower rooms in all hotels in japan. But this hotel takes the cake! Despite all that has already been stated, the stupid drain in the bath tube was “clogged”. Not completely, but for some reason the water was been drained really slowly. So imagine what a nightmare it was to take a shower in a hurry, before the bath tube get filled with the dirty water. And what is more concerning is: why the hotel leaves the stupid drain like that? Assuming that the bath is being cleaned, anyone could have noticed that the water is not been drained as it should. So I guess it means that either the hotel really don’t care about the drain not draining or the hotel is not really cleaning the bath tube and didn’t noticed the problem. It sucks either way. At least I’ve learned my lesson: Apa hotel never again.

Exceptional stay at Apa Hotel Nihombashi Hamacho Eki Minami! Impeccably clean, tranquil room with a breathtaking riverside view. Surprisingly quiet despite the nearby highway; windows can open for fresh air. The staff is remarkably professional, accommodating, and helpful—especially the diligent cleaning staff. Perfect for a month-long business stay, which I’m currently on. The peaceful surroundings and riverside walks make it a delightful experience for me and my toddler. Grateful for the comfort provided by the outstanding team.
