Compact room however the price reflected that and we felt it was fair. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows. We appreciated how quiet our stay was too. Perhaps it was the way we were facing (North). You can’t beat the location right next to the subway station. We had a beautiful city view from our room on the 13th floor. The free spa here was a nice treat for tired traveller feet. The staff went above and beyond when the dryer wasn’t sufficiently drying our clothes. They took matters into their own hands and got them dry overnight and even folded and delivered the clothes to our door! The next hotel we wished to stay at (remote) only spoke Japanese and the front desk was kind enough to call on our behalf. The origami cranes in our room were a sweet touch that showed us the staff at this hotel go a step above.

Great location and okay price but would not stay again. Single room unimaginably small to the point where I could barely turn around or organize my stuff. Stingy with checkout time (10) and housekeeping only on request. Elevators are absolutely ridiculous. 4 elevators for 30 floors of near 100% occupancy. And unintelligently and inefficiently like many Japanese things (contrary to popular belief), BOTH checkout AND end of breakfast is 10:00am, so it’s as if the entire hotel is awaiting both up and down elevators from 9:20-9:50. Make the breakfast go to 11 and the checkout go to 12! Or 10 and 11. People should be able to eat and then go get stuff to check out. Or build 4 more elevators. It was unbearable. Evening has a line up to elevator also. It felt like a capsule hotel or barracks. Honestly never again.

Luggage got damaged in the transfer which the hotel failed to inform me that they use a third party shipping company. Had I known i would never have given my luggage for transfer. Hotel refused to take responsibility and no compensation to help with broken luggage. Rooms way smaller than other APA hotels. Breakfast was average. Shower head bracket doesn’t allow to tilt shower head and doesn’t hold shower head properly. Uncomfortable stay
