So! The queen bed was totally comfortable and the outdoor deck and large window was great and we slept well with the sound of the rain and a cool breeze. *As a large grown man, I’ll say I could not sit on the toilet without having the door open sitting sideways with my legs in the hallway area! This could be awkward depending on who you’re staying with. We have to forgive this because it’s Amsterdam and that’s kinda how it goes sometimes! There’s also a faint smell of sewage coming from somewhere in wafts, we couldn’t find the source, it was random. Staff is decent and friendly. For the price, it’s an honest establishment and it’s not far at all from the action in the center. You get exactly what you pay for here and nothing more. You can be in the city center in 10 minutes on the #2 tram which goes to central station at the end of the line. Also next to vondel park.

I hit my toe because somehow they had a marble step in the middle of the bathroom door and being very tired after a whole sightseeing day I didn’t see it. Because of the hot weather, no air conditioner and the bed was not the best I’ve seen it was a difficult sleep night. On the other hand it was pretty cheap and the breakfast was nice! Also the staff very kind and welcoming. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend if the outside temperature is higher than 20 degrees.

TOTAL DUMP. Do not embarrass yourself and disgrace your family by staying here. It’s dirty, poorly renovated, in disrepair and need of fixing. I booked 2 nights at $600 on Expedia for TD thinking I should get something modest but decent like I’ve gotten before in this city and other big city spots. This is mortifying. The shower is broken (max lukewarm water), the room is tiny and feels like a jail, except at least the lightbulbs work. As I write this, I can hear other guests simply walking by and talking - zero soundproofing. The walls are filthy, the door paint is peeling and I would definitely not have paid whomever was hired to do the caulking in the bathroom. There was literally someone’s long hair stuck to the wall in the bathroom when we arrived but I cleaned it and pretended it never happened because I’m so embarrassed to have chosen this miserable place. Stay away. Location is good. Also if you are not slender enough you will not fit into the shower door. And if you’re too tall your knees will hit the sink from the toilet.

To our eyes not really worth the money. The pictures of the room at the time of booking not representing the really of how the rooms are now. Very basic furniture. The extra blankets in the closeted so smelly that we didn’t want to even touch them. The stairs are horrible. I won’t really suggest this hotel

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
