Our family had a one-night stay at Araliya Red on 13th January 2024. We had booked 3 double rooms and a family room. Among the group one family had 8-year-old child and they have charged additional Rs. 6000/- for the child. The professionalism of the staff is lacking, from the reception to dining. They came and placed towels in the washrooms only after we checked in to our rooms. We had to call reception to get the bath robes. Also, I asked them for a few milk creamers, they said that I had to pay a charge. Dinner and breakfast were good but the lunch on the following day was not satisfactory. They have an indoor pool, and it was maintained well. The rooms were spacious, and the washrooms were clean. The shower cubical got flooded in no time in our washroom. We had to stay in the cubical until the water drained. My overall experience of the stay was not very pleasant.

Wonderful location. Family room is very spacious and clean. Staffs are very helpful except receptionists. Restaurant ambient was pleasant and the singers are too good at dinner time. The meal not up to the mark and could be better.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at Araliya Red in Nuwara Eliya, and I must say it was the worst hotel and buffet experience I've ever encountered. Upon arrival at a chilly 12⁰ Celsius night, the security insisted on moving my vehicle to a distant car park, leaving my parents to walk 100 meters through the cold drizzle. Our check-in was at 2 pm, and though we arrived at 1:45 pm, we were ushered to the lunch buffet, as our rooms were supposedly not ready. The buffet turned out to be a disaster, with numerous empty dishes by 2 pm, unorganized staff, and a lack of basic amenities like cutlery and water. Regrettably, the dinner buffet replicated the same chaos. Despite bringing our concerns to the attention of the F&B manager, Mr. Lalith, and lodging a complaint with the operations manager, Mr. Laxaman, the issues persisted. Meat items were depleted by 9 pm, well before the scheduled buffet closing time of 10 pm. This unsatisfactory experience was shared by numerous guests, many of whom were foreigners. I had high hopes for a pleasant stay at Araliya Red, but the constant mismanagement and poor service have left an indelible mark. I have decided never to revisit this hotel, and I cannot in good conscience recommend it to anyone. January 14, 2024, will forever be associated with the night I endured the worst hotel and buffet experience at Araliya Red.

Araliya Red is a very nice place to stay with very spacious rooms & extra clean washrooms! In my opinion instead of wasting extra space in the rooms, the same could had been used for making balconies as it is a hill station & offers gorgeous scenic views. Food spread is outstanding! But pool rules need to be strict & adhered to; they allow anyone & everyone in the usual clothes, which definitely wouldn't be approved by everyone.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
