A lovely hotel with beautiful , rooms. Great location. The staff on the reception counter are efficient but really do the minimum required to make you welcome . The gym is pointless . The rooftop pool offers nice views but is over crowded ( this was around new year's) and has the usual situation with people leaving towels in sun loungers even though they're not there. We tried ordering cocktails but the bartender was over run so we cancelled them. Great included breakfast a high point.

Worst place / hotel I‘ve ever been. The service, especially the reception and the managers are horrible and incapable of doing their job. I was already sick and my air conditioning did not worked for heating (it was less than 10 degrees…). Complaint more than 3 times and no one took care. I’ve also talked to the „general manager“ but he didn’t care either. Even worse, I do not believe it was the general manager, instead just said he is it. Long story short: try to avoid these place!

I’ve stayed in every Arena hotel along Copacabana and Ipanema and this one is the best in my opinion. But it is worth mentioning the differences are extremely small. The breakfast every morning is EXACTLY the same and it’s the same as the other Arena Hotels too. The reason I feel Ipanema is the best is purely location. You can hop to Copacabana easily and you are 100 feet or so away from Ipanema. Lots of food choices in walking distance too!

Disappointing stay here unfortunately - the main issue being the room. We stayed in a standard double room - at 19sqm/215sqft, should have realised this would be very small. The pictures on the hotel website are taken from very flattering angles. In fact, the room is ridiculously small. There is hardly any space to fit your suitcase around the bed, let alone house two adults. The bathroom was tiny. The door was broken which gave no privacy whatsoever. A small light was on under the sink which couldn't seem to be turned off. The breakfast was a medium sized buffet but nothing particularly great. Was disappointed to see someone's room service dinner still in the hallway at 1pm the next day, that's pretty disgusting to other hotel guests. Gym was just 5 machines packed together in a tiny space, and the rooftop pool is underwhelming. Overall, I think there are many better places to stay in Rio - if you book early enough (>3 months) you can get much better hotels for only a little more. You can definitely get nicer Airbnb rooms for cheaper. Would not recommend here.

The hotel has an excellent location and the room is fine, but the attention of the staff is lousy. We called the lobby for a favor and no one helped you until you called a third time. They never fixed or cleaned the room, we arrived several times at 6 in the afternoon and the room was not cleaned, the floor was dirty and they did not leave towels

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
