        It was an interesting experience. I’m traveling to New Zealand for 3 nights and this hotel has the cheapest price for a big room for 3 people. However during our stay there has been pros and cons. Pros; -Great and friendly staffs! Both morning and night receptionist are nice! Especially the night one! Appreciate there hard works - Cleaners was so nice! They kindly inform us about the tag of ‘yes please’ or ‘no thanks’ as this hotel have this tag to let the cleaners know if they want the room clean. We didn’t know about that until they told us about it:) Cons; -One afternoon, we got back to the hotel from a long walk and extreme climbing and my family was exhausted. We called the receptionist for 2 more cold water as we don’t have water bottle. We waited for 2 hours and we called over and over again as we still didn’t get any water. So my dad has to go down and buy a water bottle. -TV, at one point the TV was not working. Neither was the TV remote, we informed the staff but done nothing about it. As we have to use the button on the TV to ‘replace’ the remote

        A fairly basic but functional hotel, reasonable price accordingly. Couldn't check in until 3pm which was a bit on the late side but the staff let me leave my bags. Friendly and helpful concierge was efficient to get me checked in. Room was adequate and comfortable, but no desk space was quite annoying for a work trip. The WiFi was awful most of the time which was also a bit of a pain.

        We paid quite a lot for a standard room (over $200) as there was not a lot available as it is a busy time of the year. Room was very small. Initially the bed looked nicely made but as we hopped in we realised there was no duvet cover on the duvet and the duvet had stains all over it, we had to sleep with a sheet. Room smells like cigarettes. Mini fridge was really loud, had to unplug it overnight. Can hear everything and everyone from the hallway and other rooms. Staff at the front desk were friendly.

        No it's not luxury accommodation but given the price it's practically impossible to fault this place. The room and bathroom were clean. Generous assortment of teas/instant coffee/hot chocolate/milk provided in the room. Staff were friendly. Some minor issues: The mattress was quite soft The door to the room is fairly thin so you can hear some noise from the hallway The room had a smell that seemed to be coming from the curtains - didn't bother me enough to complain but hopefully these can be replaced Also note it's on a fairly steep hill so if you're trying to walk to the hotel with luggage it might be a challenge. A "real" rating for this place is probably 3.5 or 4 but the value is incredible for a private hotel room in Auckland. I would 100% stay again if it's still well priced.

        DIRTIEST HOTEL EVER. NON RESPONSIVE STAFFS. The room smells bad. Looks&feels completely different from the photo. Looks dark and old and dirty in real life. The bed sheet was never changed through out the whole stay even when we put their "YES PLEASE" sign on because of the stain. The way bed was made made us think that they left in the middle of cleaning. Used coffee cups were hanging around, tea box and the water bottle was not filled up. The only things they changed ware towel. Asked for a toothpaste two times in the morning, and in the evening, they wrote down the room number and said will send it up, never got it. There was no service, no house keeping. Not worth the money AT ALL. It was the worst hotel in my life.
