        Stayed here one night just to have a place to recover from my flight. My expectations were low as I only wanted a comfortable bed and a warm shower. When I arrived the staff was very friendly. The system was down so I couldn’t tap into my room without help, but these things happen. The room was dirty when I arrived. Still tags and crumbs from the previous tenant. I was freezing the entire night. I played with the AC, even moving to max heat and it was always cold. I figured I could warm up with a shower-freezing. Couldn’t even stand under the water. The blow dryer turned off every 20 seconds and required a minute to recharge. Noticed the pool was also closed as I was checking out. The common areas downstairs look clean and it is in a nice area. Would not recommend primarily on room maintenance and comfort.

        I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. However, there were some minor issues. On 2 occasions the safe wouldn't open. The air conditioning leaked water overnight. And the shower curtain came off the wall. I also had money stolen from my room by the cleaning staff. The amount was very minimal, I didn't care. I reported the theft on principle, the money was returned the following morning. At times the internet lagged a little. So watching TV was at times difficult. I found the hotel staff adequate and they did their best to solve my issues with the room in a prominent fashion. I would stay here in a heartbeat as the memories I have of this establishment have become priceless.

        Location is good. Good centre , so we can just walk around as well. Rooms are small, moderately clean but require maintenance as most of the things are worn out and in the process of breaking down. Now the service is why I have given such a low rating. They look down on you so much even if we try to be friendly. We had asked for a late checkout to a lady and she had quoted us 500 Bhat for it. We said okay to that. Next day we went to the reception before leaving for sightseeing to get our keys charged for the late checkout , this time it was morning shift so there was another guy there, we tried asking him if he could give the late checkout to us for complimentary so he said it is 800 Bhat, we said it's okay we are ready to pay but we had confirmed with the lady 500 Bhat. When he heard this he says "No, we do not have room" So we said we confirmed with the lady and he also mentioned if we pay 800 you would give us the room, for which he replied "Sorry,No room now even if you pay" I felt this was very unfair, but when we spoke calmly and respectfully they were trying to take advantage of us. I had to raise my voice then and be Stern to which he obliged to give us the room. Later when we came back from the sightseeing, the two guys in the reception were mocking us,mumbling if the room checkout is at 4 or 5, 4 or 5 and then laughing at us. Wouldn't go back if they gave us even their best room for free. Selected this because it was part of Compass Hospitality, but regret it. Breakfast was average, didn't taste great.

        Our whole stay of 4 nights was okay. But the morning we checked out, I found that, 11,000 baht has been stolen from my bag in my room, while I was having breakfast. That was the only time my bag was unattended. So it could be anyone from the hotel staff. I contacted the hotel regarding it, but they say no one entered our room and they can't help me anymore since I already checked out. This has completely left be blank since it's a huge chunk of amount.

        Aspen Suites is an affordable gem in Bangkok! Small but mighty, their rooms pack a punch with comfort and the staff are the real stars, always ready to help with a smile. The location is prime, close to major roads but tucked away on a quiet street. And the cherry on top? Their complimentary tuk-tuk whisks you to main road to avoid the 5 min walk, adding a touch of local charm to your stay. Highly recommend!

          It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.
