Service is paramount, and my experience upon arrival was less than satisfactory. The staff didn't extend the basic courtesies of a greeting or a smile; instead, they stared at me blankly. As a receptionist, one would expect a more hospitable approach. This initial encounter left me with an unwelcoming and somewhat cold impression. When I submitted my passport, the staff continued to maintain a blank expression and made me feel like an outsider. Moreover, I was informed that I needed to pay a 1000 baht deposit in cash, which would be refunded upon check-out. This amount, over 20 USD, came as a surprise. It would have been greatly appreciated if such a requirement had been communicated before booking, perhaps in the tax section or via email in advance. This lack of transparency was quite frustrating. Despite the presence of available staff and bellboys, as well as luggage trolleys, no one offered assistance with my numerous bags. Consequently, I had to transport all my luggage to the 8th floor unaided, which further highlighted the poor service. I had booked an executive room, and while most aspects of the room met my expectations, there was a significant disappointment. The balcony was locked, denying me access. Additionally, the hotel's attention to detail and hygiene left much to be desired. The shower gel and shampoo provided were of subpar quality, and I've stayed in more budget-friendly accommodations that offered better-quality, disposable alternatives. For a hotel that claims to be highly rated, this was exceptionally frustrating. Furthermore, there was no hand wash or soap available, which was rather unpleasant. I resorted to using my facial cleanser to wash my hands throughout my stay. Despite the premium price of 60 USD per night, which is considered expensive in the Thai context, the sound insulation of the rooms was inadequate. I could hear disturbances from various parts of the building, including alarm clocks, conversations among the cleaning staff, and people outside the corridor laughing and screaming. Given the amount I paid, I did not anticipate such disruptions. During my week-long stay, it became evident that the majority of the guests were young Thai partygoers. If that isn't your preference, I would strongly advise against choosing this hotel. Location was not close to main points of attraction and shopping malls, you will have to take a bike or taxi to commute to these places. On a more positive note, the swimming pool, although small, was well-maintained. The air conditioning in the room functioned effectively, with only one minor issue that was promptly resolved by the cleaning staff, who were courteous and unintrusive in their duties. In summary, I cannot recommend this hotel due to the overwhelming negatives that overshadow the few positives. There are more affordable options available that offer superior service and amenities.

Bring your own Breakfast... comfortable and clean Glow S71 is quite new with good amenities and secure location & parking. About 2km along S71 a bit remote for walkers. Restaurant is only open at night. Rooms are large and clean, could use some better interior design for storage and furniture. Hotel internet is available but barely working (upload speed throttled to near zero). Hotel staff friendly and caring but not too knowledgeable about local information (lunch , breakfast, coffee). I think hotel should provide visitors with local information list/suggestion.
