        First Impressions: While the Christmas decorations initially offered a welcome vibe, my arrival at 42 Residence was quickly met with disappointment. The early check-in policy felt rigid and inconvenient, requiring an additional charge for even a short wait. This set the tone for a transactional and unaccommodating experience. The unwelcoming reception staff further dampened my mood, making me feel like an outsider rather than a valued guest. Room Woes: My initial room was a nightmare – a faulty geyser and general unhygienic conditions forced me to request a change. While the second room functioned better, it was far from ideal, plagued by cockroaches and broken fixtures. Only the decent view from the 5th floor offered any solace. Silver Linings: On the positive side, the hotel offered a small convenience store and laundry facilities and even a medical dispensary were positive points, offering some convenience and preparedness Illness and Inhospitable Staff: Due to my ill health, I remained confined to the hotel while other family members explored the city. Unfortunately, I experienced firsthand the unfriendly and indifferent attitude of the staff. A late check-out, prompted by unforeseen circumstances, resulted in a rude and unfriendly encounter with the receptionist, and an additional 200 baht was paid for the delay. My attempts to access or ask simple questions were met with salty and dismissive responses, further contributing to the unpleasant experience. Overall Disappointment: My stay at 42 Residence was a major disappointment. From the inconvenient policies and unwelcoming staff to the subpar accommodation and lack of genuine hospitality, it was a far cry from a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a friendly and comfortable stay in Bangkok.

        Stayed 2 nights sadly. Checked out very early. Not very clean. So no surprise i had a 3 combo nightmare: cockroach crawling in my hair at night, bed bugs biting me and a huge spider visiting my backpack. No toilet paper and no room service for 2 nights

        Some blankets. The blanket should be changed. This type of cloth is used in curtains. The pillow is flat, like it's been used for 10 years. But folding the swan shows that Skilled housekeeper

        Bathroom, water leaked from the bathroom door frame all night. Very confused (red circle). Where did the water come from? I slept listening to the sound of water flowing all night. The bathroom door hinge has a hole. And inside there are centipedes living (green circles). So how do you sleep? In the morning, the bus couldn't leave. There was a car parked in the way. We had to wait for more than half an hour. Until I followed the owner of the car to move and he didn't tell me, didn't communicate anything, left me standing confused and waiting.
