        I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Athena. The room was nice and clean. The storage cabinet was quite big and I like the fact that there was a fridge and TV. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom felt a bit cramped but it was sufficient. Internet was good. The staff was quite friendly. It's not close to the city center but I loved the location because it felt safe. Plus there were 3 train stations within a 10-min walk so getting around the city was never a problem.

        On our third night we were not allowed to use a dining room table to eat a sandwich. The employee told us that he did not authorize us and began to move our belongings from one place to another without our authorization in a rude manner. Finally we ate outside (balcony) with drizzle, cold, thunder and lightning. Very unpleasant experience in this hotel with employees who logically do not know what it means to work in this industry.

        I am still at lost for words how this hotel has 3 stars... What i found interesting is, that we had to ring a doorbell to get into the establishment which had to be opened by a staff member. Rooms were okay? The placement of the furniture was questionable. However we had air conditioning and pretty comfy beds. I would not really recommend this hotel if you want to do a lot of sightseeing in Rome due to its poor location.

        This is a condominium-like hotel 24/7, pretty near the center and well connected by metro and busses, but it’s not so uncomfortable to walk for 15 minutes from Termini station. The neighbourhood is very typical and full of bars and fast food, also a supermarket is nearby (Conad). The suite has enough space but the bathroom was a little bit tiny, even if there is all the necessary. The style was old, but the mattress was amazing: I’ve never slept so well, not even at my home :)
