My partner & I have had 2 night stay in the Harbour Suites. It is well located and within walking distance to all main locations in Auckland. The rooms are quite outdated & are probably due for a refresh - however the rooms are definitely still clean and well laid out in terms of space. Parking is limited so ensure you book with the hotel prior to checking in to secure a spot in their assigned car park lot. Overall - a great place to stay for your stay in Auckland! :)

Tidy, but well in need of some maintenance. The decor is dated, and the room I stayed in had a slightly mildewed smell, the secondary door lock didn’t work, and I think saying the room has a balcony, while technically accurate, is quite misleading given you certainly couldn’t have a chair out there - lucky if it was a foot deep at best. Location is great if you like strip clubs.

Calling this a 4 star hotel is ludicrous. No air conditioning is the biggest problem - it is ungodly hot and the feeble swamp coolers provided don’t help. Dated rooms and facilities, narrow hallways, sketchy people hanging around outside. Only pluses are location and that it’s relatively clean. Stay somewhere else.

Facilities were poor to put it nicely. Our toilet did not flush for our first evening, the shower did not drain well, and our dryer did not work. The staff were amazing, they helped us with these issues but it still dampened our experience. We did not have housekeeping which was very strange, we had never experienced a hotel stay where housekeeping was not included in the booking. Some positives; location was great, our view was very nice.
