        The hotel is outdated, and may just qualify as 3*. The bathroom is the best, the breakfast is boring if you stay for 10 days like we did. The position is very convenient for the price.

        The hotel is well situated few 100 meters from Riosul Shopping center and COPACABANA beach close to small businesses .The front desk staff were very helpful and speak all a good English Rooms are very clean spacious the bed confortable Could do better in the breakfast I would recommend this hotel

        The Augusto's is overpriced for the services it offers. 
I stayed in a suite quite big, but the living room is poor, with just a small sofa and a small fridge. No TV in the living room, not cozy at all. 
The bedroom has a king size bed, with a twisted mattress and bad linens with holes. Two small and very thin pillows not comfortable.
The air conditioning is noisy with no remote or thermostat. 
The breakfast is poor, with warm but not hot coffee and with no variety. The ham is not ham, is a poor mixture with a strange taste. Some guests had bought real ham in the supermarket and brought to the breakfast area to taste real ham. 
The internet in the bedroom has a very poor quality, you can't work or watch anything online. If you want to do so you have to go to the lobby where the internet is a bit better. 
The pool and the gym are not very pleasant either. The pool looks like a bath tube and there's no amenities in the area. 
The only good think in the hotel is the kindness of the workers.

        The only positive thing is the location, although it’s super loud, no soundproofing! The room has a lot of space and was clean, but the mattress is super old and uncomfortable! The toilet paper is the worst ever, the boteco next to the hotel offers better ones! The internet doesn’t work! And the breakfast is super basic! The pool area it’s really small! Overall, It’s a big disappointment considering it’s a 4-star hotel!

        Very unpleasant, horrible experience. We stayed here March 2022, during our stay, there was a fire on the 5th floor which caused a lot of smoke to rise to our room. We woke up at 5 am due to the smell of smoke, as time went by, the smoke and air quality was getting worse that we started to panic. I called reception but there was no answer. I looked for the fire alarm, but it did not appear to function or have instructions. We could not find the stairway and when we did, it was full of smoke, so the only choice was to take the elevator down to the lobby. When we got to the lobby we noticed that the front reception employee was not calling any of the guests to alert about the fire. We came to learn that there were no smoke alarms in the building and no water sprinklers. No ambulance arrived on the scene at all, even though people were coughing from smoke inhalation. This property is not equipped for a fire and has no protocol in place if one were to happen. There is no hot water. Our bathroom had a leak. The internet is not reliable unless you work from the lobby. The breakfast was the same thing every morning. After asking the hotel staff what our options are, they offered to do our laundry, but when we picked up our clothes, they did not seem to be washed at all. It seems as though they were only rinsed with no detergent or maybe not washed at all. Do not stay here, it is not safe if the hotel is has no fire safety. From this terrible experience we learned to always check a hotel's fire safety. I recommend to not stay here, there are many other hotels in the same area and same price range. This was definitely not a four star experience.
