        Place is good and clean. Big room. Tight parking for two wheels. Nice pool as well my daughter really enjoyed it. Pool resto looks fancy, we ordered their nachos without knowing it’s uncooked corn beef in it, it wasn’t good is not worth the price!

        The rooms are not maintained properly. They charge you so much but the housekeeping staff just keeps you waiting for the room cleaned even after several requests. They just take you for granted. I had requested the room cleaning at 9 am and then again at 10 and kept following and finally they did it and the housekeeping staff made sure to make you feel that they have done a favour on you. They charged me for breakfast. I am a vegetarian (have only plant based food) and they didn't have any option for that. They could have mentioned that atleast while we were doing the payments. The rooms ac are not proper, they have patches here and there which they cover by the curtains. Cockroach moving around. All together horrible experience. I let the officers at front desk know about this but they were very casual about it. The location of the hotel is the only positive about it.. Please be careful while booking

        If you dont want to read all and why only 1 star: scroll to the end, there is a summary. Normally i dont write reviews or so. I truly believe that everyone can have a bad day and if you cross the way of someone at a bad day there may be differences and difficoultys. But this Hotel and the staff cause me a lot of nerv and also money. The first day my fiancee and 1 niece (15y) and 1 nephew (8y) where staying in the room, for the next night i booked an additional room for them that cost pretty much... but all of that i requested prior in an email. Lets start from the begining, shall we? I messaged month in advance to book the transfer from the airport, it was like 6am, to the Hotel. My fiancee arrived a day prior and should come there with them to pick me up. In the email they told me it cost like 1.000 peso (~16€) for that. The price is ok, what wasnt ok is that noone come to pic me up. My fiancee needed to get a taxi because there was noone available to drive her to the airport. I waited nearly an hour until i was finally able to hold me beloved future wife in my arms. Then we arrived at the hotel and it seemed pretty normal with a restaurant/bar in the first floor and some people around, the basic things and it was ok. The day went by, unpacking some stuff, and i got that it is really tiby with 4 people in a 2 people room so i go to the reception and ask if we can have the previous asked room by now so that we can get a bit more space. I was told that it is not possible yet. Well, ok, i guess? I told them all my flight-details in advance and i really thaught it would be able to get an additional room, but here we are with 4 people in 1 way to small room. No window, just a stinky AC. After like 2 hours, around maybe 11 am, i had enough and i demanded the extra room. With the fee for 'early check-in' it cost over 4.000 peso (~65€), for a room for 1 night. And yes, THAT room had a window. Bacolod is a nice looking city and it is worth to get a room with window, i had that during a prior stay in the city but now i wanted a hotel a bit more central. Then we got something to eat on the room, and it was ok. Something that was not ok was the bad housekeeping. I understand that they dont change the pillows and plankets every day, but that we had to wait 3 days for new towels was a bit off. Also thar, after the nephew and niece checked-out they took one of the 'big towels' from us sovthat we only had 1 big and 1 small towel left. Thats really odd for 2 people. Also something that was not as expected: we didnt had a refrigerator in the room. When i asked about that they said i can place something in the restaurant/bar refrigerator if needed. May i remember that these are the philippines? A tropical country? Where the temperature is nearly never under 15°C/60°F -> at NIGHT? This is not the best stay in a hotel yet, but not yet the worest... oh, wait... there is something more! When we checked out there was the usuall thing that the housekeeping check the room. We wait at the reception. Then they say that they smell smoke in the room and that it cost a few of 1 day of stay to cleanse that smell. I day of stay is like 2.300 peso (~40€). I argued but they didnt changed there mind about that. My fiancee and i are non smokers. The niece and nephew are non smokers.... but how can you proof you are not smoking? I argued for some time and mentioned the emails and slso the missing transport thing. You know what, after a supervisor looks at the emails they ALSO charged me for the airport transport. Yes, you hear it right: the thing that not happened and cost my fiancee a lot of stress got also charged. I paid a total of 225€ (~13.500 peso) before i started my 40 hours journey to my fiancee. Additional to that come the cost of the room for the kids: 65€ The cost for the 'smoking': 40€ And the transport that never happened: 16€ Thats a total of 346€ . Around 50% more than i thaught of. This is SCAM. And i am going to messages this everywhere i can to warn the people about you guys.

        Please Read This Before Booking or Staying This Hotel!! 👎 I had an incredibly disappointing stay at Avenue Suites Hotel Bacolod, and I feel compelled to share my unfortunate experience with fellow travelers. The level of service provided by this hotel was shockingly bad, leaving me with a bitter taste and a desire to warn others. Upon check-in, we were informed that a substantial 2,000 pesos security deposit was mandatory. This demand seemed excessive and creating an uncomfortable and unwelcoming atmosphere right from the start. It made me question the hotel's integrity and wonder if this was just a ploy to extract more money from guests. To make matters worse, we were charged for a missing hand towel during our stay. The absurdity of this accusation became apparent when we realized that there was no hand towel in the room when we first entered. It's both frustrating and absurd that the hotel would resort to such questionable tactics to squeeze additional charges from guests. Sadly, our experience is not unique, as I discovered similar complaints from other guests in various reviews. It raises serious concerns about the hotel's management and whether this is an intentional modus operandi. If such issues are widespread, one must question why the hotel management allows or even encourages such practices. I strongly advise against booking or staying at Avenue Suites Hotel Bacolod. There are plenty of other accommodation options in the area that offer better service and transparency. I sincerely hope this review reaches the attention of the owner or management, urging them to rectify these unethical practices. Guests deserve an honest and respectful experience, not one marred by hidden fees and questionable charges and parking inconveniences. To add: We booked for standard room with windows but they put us on economy room with now windows like WTH? 👎👎👎👎👎

          Booking Policy
          It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.
          The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.
