Great location I must say! But everything else down to the service receives a zero. I have caught the pink eye from staying in suite 8. I have reached out to the property to let them know that I’ve only laid my head on their bed while on my stay. There was no type of concern or empathy shown, and to top it off they stopped answering my calls and texts after I asked for my mandatory cleaning fee of $47 back. I felt that was the least they could do since they clearly aren’t cleaning anything. The TV didn’t have any sound , and for a 4 day stay we were only given 2 towels, when I asked for more I was told by the cleaning lady that there were none available. I don’t see myself staying here again.

This is basically a hotel without any employees. As usual, you might come across other residents inside the building, but your room is yours just like in a hotel. However, when I viewed the place on Expedia, I knew there had to be a catch. The room photos and description looked too good for the price. The catch is an extensive signup process on a clunky "Aardvark" website you're forced into trusting with your credit card info. Also, what hotel requires that you send them a selfie? I never take selfies! Everything looked pretty normal before I paid for the room. The unexpected back-and-forth I was forced into afterward was so annoying I actually contacted Expedia to try to cancel despite the payment being nonrefundable. But I'm giving the place a mostly high rating because it deserves an A for effort and innovation. I'm a DIY'er who's big on self-serve everything, and this is basically a self-serve hotel. The room itself was quite good and the location is excellent. Now that I know how the process works, I'd stay here again.

On the positive side, the place was clean and convenient location. On the negative side, the sound on the TV kept going out. Made for a very boring first two days. They couldn't send someone out until the 3rd day. By that time I figured out that unplugging it would temporarily fix it. The blinds would not close properly. Anyone on the roof patio of the building next door can look straight into our room. Extension cords hanging everywhere. Only one coffee cup available. And they purchase the cheapest toilet paper possible. Owners of rentals need to stay in their own place for several days so they can experience the annoying problems themselves and do something about it.
