This is a great hotel in a fantastic location, the old town and many restaurants are in walking distance. The rooms are a little dated but it's clean, it's a little noisy but to be expected as it's in such a central location. The hosts here were so helpful, they assisted with tours, taxis and even booking a ferry for us when it wouldn't accept our credit card. It was very reasonably priced and I'd definitely stay here again.

Cute medium sized room with good hospitality and services, waited for us till 3 am in the morning, when we arrived there. Also very nearby, at walking distance, from the attractions, there is also a convenience store at the corner of the hotel which would make your life easier.

The location of this hotel is absolutely spot-on. If you are going for history, make sure you book with basileus. The staff are so friendly and kind and the rooms were so clean and well attended to will definitely be booking with this hotel again upon my arrival in Istanbul, thank you for having us❤️

100% recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul! The location is perfect, within walking distance of main attractions. More importantly, the people who work here are amazing. Some of the nicest, most hospitable people we met! We enjoyed our conversations with them. I even forgot my laptop in the room when we were checking out, and Mr. Ahmed made sure that it was shipped to me in the U.S. I cannot recommend this place enough, we will certainly be back!

We found the Basileus Hotel from great reviews online. They absolutely did not disappoint! This is such a wonderful place to stay - it really felt like home away from home. It's very comfortable and clean, spacious and lovely. The location and value are unbeatable. I can't believe we got such good deal here - but because we did, we ended up extending our planned week visit - by weeks! It feels so much like home. Highly recommend. Special thanks to Mohammad and Mourad - they were such gracious hosts and helped with everything for our stay. From check in to check out, they are the best guys! Thanks so much for making our stay lovely.
