I cannot thank the host enough for extending such a warm hospitality. I have been to many places and have come across only a handful of hosts who go above & beyond to make guests feel at home. The property though 400+ years old, is so well maintained. His home felt like a time capsule that would transport one to another world. I say so, because of the beautiful antique collection Mr. Kodi has. Very well travelled himself, he is a gem of a person that we couldn’t recommend enough. Great value for money. The breakfast spread was amazing, the rooms were a blend of old & modern with all necessary amenities provided, floors to sheets spick & span. Only a 5 min walk to the Galle lighthouse, you must stay here if you are fond of history & of course great hosts!

Very special property 1 minute from the Galle fort sea walls. Original features of the large building have been preserved and there is lots of history and antiques to be admired. Super welcoming, caring and passionate hosts that go out of their way to make your stay and travels successful. Very peaceful, comfy beds, tasty Sri Lankan breakfast. Walking distance to everything in Galle. Highly recommended for those who like a special intimate experience.

This house is 300 years old so things are very vintage. But the owner were ever so helpful and kind. Gave us an amazing breakfast. Walls are thin.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
