We did not enjoy our stay here unfortunately. Firstly, we had a serious problem with ants, by serious I mean swarms of ants covering the wall in the bathroom. To give credit to the staff/owner, we messaged them and within half an hour someone had come to spray the walls and Hoover up the dead ants, however after an hour they were back, we found two holes in the wall and tried to plug them with tissue and sprayed them with our insect repellent which seemed to keep them mostly at bay. The second problem was that there was a leaking pipe above our bed, which dripped on our heads every so often, we messaged staff about this and were ignored. We tried to see them face to face however there is no one at the reception ever. The third problem was the pool, this is not a pool, more so a dirty still water pond on the roof of the hotel, it was so dirty we didn’t dare go in it, and is definitely not useable and should not be advertised as a pool. They last thing was the smell and cleanliness of the place, there was a damp, musky smell that seemed to worsen as time went on, and there were marks on our bedding and towels. The only positive I can say about this is the location.

Mixed feelings, but given other hotels at this price point, it’s worth considering. Pros: - Perfect location - Comfortable beds with clean sheets - Fairly nice design overall, though at times it looks/feels unfinished - Great water pressure - Decently clean overall (though we found a cockroach under our bed when checking out…) - Good customer service (they were friendly and helped us with our bags) Cons: - Hard to find (had to ask several people for help) - Weird gas-like smell in the room, which is pretty concerning - Small room with thin walls & a tiny window - Light from the hallway filters into the room from a window, making it hard to sleep at night - Pool was unusable (really green) - We were surprised by a “tourist tax” of 10 Ringgit per night when we arrived
