Breakfast: On google you will find nice photos of breakfast, and in reality you are served packaged: croissant, dried toast (rusk), packaged mini muffin, jam and store bought pancakes. A sugar shock in the morning! Upon asking reception why we are served this packaged food, we were asked to LEAVE the hotel!!! We have never experienced such unfriendly hospitality. We were shocked to have such a rude discussion at the reception. Because we arrived in “off season” (beginning of November), they served us this… very important to note to differences between on/off season!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Additionally, the bathroom was moldy, and many things were falling apart (power socket, door..ect) There are better places in Santorini, it’s not necessary to waste your money here.

"Une Etoile (1-star) Villas": The place is absolutely terrible in a number of ways. I travel a lot, and I have not stayed anywhere worse in a VERY long time. Where to begin? When we first arrived, we checked the location on the Air B&B app... which was wrong. There were no check-in instructions, period. I had no trouble with every single other Airbnb I ever went to, except for this one. I call, no answer. Finally, I get hold of the people in charge, who tell me to come to far from where it's indicated on the map according to the app. When I meet with the lady at the front desk (named Avgerini), she immediately goes on the defensive, telling me I'm wrong, it's not her problem I didn't find the location, that there's nothing she can do to fix it in Air B&B (which is a not true at all, but probably Avgerini's just ignorant and can't be bothered to learn how to use the app correctly as many of her fellow Greek hosts have done). Then, she has the audacity to THREATEN us and say: "Well, if you're not happy, I can refund you and you just figure out some other place to stay tonight!" Imagine that? We're tired from a long day of traveling, and upset that it was hard to find the place, and you threaten to kick us out of your overpriced spot? Anyway... we finally get in after some nonsense, and are glad to be there just to settle in anywhere. Or so we thought. This is a very poor location, where our room was right adjacent to a noisy main road where many locals drive with music blasting all night long. Literally, the view in the kitchen looks out on the valley from a hill, but our rooms look onto the road. Also, the parking requires crossing a dangerous street to reach. And, most fun of all, when parking was not abundant, Avgerini, our dear host, parked behind our car, blocking us in for some time. The place itself, inside, is pretty bad for the price (~USD360 for 2 nights, oof). The renovations were done poorly and with very little craftsmanship, the appliances are very old and falling apart, the bathroom smells like human feces (which they try to cover with blue air freshener liquid like in a chemical toilet... nice touch), and the floor was dirty. How did we find out? Our feet were black from walking barefoot inside, and the silly "wet bath" shower area drenched the entire bathroom floor, so when we mopped up with a towel, it too was black with dirt. Finally, there's the greed. I can't imagine someone who actually built this business would act like this. We were told, verbatim: "anything inside the fridge you can take for free, but anything inside you pay, here are the prices". We took 2 bottles of water, which were OUTSIDE the fridge, and some nuts, also outside. The night before I leave, Avgerini calls, texts, and KNOCKS ON THE DOOR past 9pm to try to shake me down for 14 Euros I supposedly owe her for the minibar. I did not pay them, nor should you, and beware: mine is not the only review that will reveal that this place charges for minibar items YOU DIDN'T even take. Look at the other one star reviews and you'll see! And what about laundry? 20 Euros PER LOAD. Insane. Once again, the arrogance of the staff shines, when they tell me: "oh that's a bargain, go to Fira, it's even more". Wow, how hospitable! This place needs to get off Air B&B, and people need to become aware that these hosts only care about your money. They have a bad location, poor service, are rude with customers, and are a disgrace to both Santorini, and to Greece itself. The end. P.S. Please don't stay here, and if you're reading this, you may want to reconsider Santorini altogether. It's a rude, arrogant place where tourists are separated quickly from their hard-earned dollars, and there is very little fun activities to actually do here.
