Lovely boutique hotel on a hillside with spectacular views of the Atlantic and the nearby beach on one side and a small marina on the other. Adult only which was a happy accident for my grown up daughter and me. Pool was fine, but metal ladder into pool a little bit wobbly so you have to careful getting in and out. Sunbeds need updating as they are a bit worn and torn. Was lovely and quiet and relaxed, even during the second week of August, and if you got up early enough, you are guaranteed a sunbed. The beach was a 5 minute walk and also fabulous with beachside restaurant. It would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room, but apart from that, rooms were clean and functional with AC and regular excellent cleaning service. Staff were lovely and accommodating. Hotel breakfast buffet had everything to set you up for the day. Not for anyone with mobility issues as hilly and lots of steps in the hotel and getting in and out of the pool would be a problem. A short taxi ride to the new town if you need a buzz and within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in the old town. Will definitely be back.

Definitely not a 4 stars hotel. Very good location and swimming pool, not enough sun beds. Very good selection at breakfast buffet. Very old hotel, lots of potential but rooms and common areas need renovation, very worn down rooms. Lots of spaces packed with old furniture and not welcoming. Bed and pillows are extremely uncomfortable, cleanliness isn’t the best - ants in the bathroom and there was a dead cockroach on the floor at the breakfast restaurant. The AC is a joke, feels more like a fan and not comfortable to sleep during the summer. Staff at breakfast not friendly, during the 4 days I stayed they all seem annoyed and not welcoming. Even though breakfast finishes at 10:30am, they start cleaning up at 10:20am. Extremely expensive for the service and installations.

Two star tourist trap, and that’s generous. This establishment should not function. It relies on agencies bringing in senior tourists. Rooms are despicable. Hairdryer missing, the fridge and safe are locked and cost extra. On the good side: there’s a bidet. We shortened our stay, got half our money back, and booked a proper hotel on a generous last minute discount from Booking, basically for the same money.

I would not stay here again! We did book cheap as we're doing a little road trip around Portugal. We just wanted somewhere comfortable to sleep as we were out through the day. 1. Everything is very dated (1980's) and nothing has been updated. It is very Blackpool without the coin machines. 2. We have a COCKROACH in our bathroom, we covered it with a glass and the cleaners took it, but just left the glass on the floor. 3. The room was not nice, beds are uncomfortable and there was no AC. 4. Food was nice (we only had breakfast) 5 location is amazing and we had nice views from the balcony. If you want something cheap then it would be okay, but don't set your hopes too high as the photos on the website make it look nicer than it is.

I tried to email the hotel privately to begin with but I got no response. So here is my review: 1. **Hygiene and Cleanliness Issues:** The room we were allocated was in an unacceptable state. There were visible hairs and dirt in various areas of the room, and it appeared that the room had not been adequately cleaned prior to our arrival. We requested a change of sheets, but the replacement sheets were also dirty, and we were forced to change them ourselves. 2. **Dirty Stool:** The stool in the room was covered in grime and stains, making it unusable. We could neither sit on it nor place our belongings on it. 3. **Balcony Door Malfunction:** The balcony door in our room had a malfunction that made it difficult to open and close properly. This posed not only an inconvenience but also a safety hazard. Please follow this link to watch the video: 4. **Broken Toilet Seat:** The toilet seat in the bathroom was broken, making it uncomfortable and unhygienic to use. 5. **Faulty Shower Head:** The shower head in the bathroom was broken, which made taking a proper shower impossible. The first time we used it, we had water running down our room. We had to request a replacement. 6. **Water Quality Issues:** For several hours during our stay, we had no running water in our room. When the water supply was restored, it was discolored, resembling dirty brown water. This not only inconvenienced us but also raised concerns about water quality and safety.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.
