        For a night before you flight, it's ok. Not horrible but also nothing special. Free airport shuttle is a nice benefit. You'll wait for the shuttle at the A9 platform. When you exit the airport you'll see nothing but B platforms. Take a hard right and keep walking, A9 will be a short distance from there. The platform not visible when you exit the airport, follow my instructions and it will be there. Most of the time it will be a bus, but if you are arriving late, it may be a small passenger van...so keep an eye on that too. I believe the last shuttle from the airport is at 11:45pm....but double check that with the hotel.

        Poor service - reception staff were very unhelpful whereby they couldn’t even provide basic sanitary products for females. With the hotel being next to the airport and people staying there because of a cancelled flight (with no bag), you would think the hotel could at least provide these basic items. The buffet food was very poor. The earliest shuttle bus is at 6am which is no use for people getting early flights. However, the rooms themselves were great.

        We missed our connection due to a delayed KLM flight coming into Amsterdam and the airline booked us into this hotel for a night. Staff was friendly and helpful, I cannot agree with the other reviews that say otherwise. Since most of our luggage was checked through to the final destination we had no toiletries on us, but staff provided us with toothbrushes and additional shampoos without any issue. The room was average, but sufficient for a night. Our room had two single beds, which wasn't ideal as we were two adults and a five year old child, so we had to fit two of us in one bed. The shower room was modern and the shower itself spacious. Breakfast was a bit limited, but offered all we were looking for, including different types of eggs (including an omelette station where eggs are prepared fresh). Some fruit selection other than the fruit salad would have been great, but was missing. Overall I can't fault this hotel for a layover.

        Thank goodness we only needed this room for a few hours in between our flight. Aesthetically, the hotel is pretty nice but once you get past the lobby area, it’s a different story. It puts you in the mind of a motel 6 or something if the like. The hallways were hot. Once we entered the room, we had no instruction on how to turn the lights on (use your room key). The beds were super low and ultra soft to the point they felt like a waterbed. Also they are not your standard twin bed as myself and my friend almost fell off a few times. The bathroom has a trip hazard and is not marked. My mom stumped her toe and almost fell into the bathroom. You should really consider adding hazard tape or placing a ramp at the door. The room had an odious smell of sewage, while faint it was distinct enough for us to have to shut the toilet door and spray Lysol. As I said. I’m so happy that we only needed this room for a few hours.

        Our experience at this establishment was deeply unsettling and completely unacceptable. On three separate occasions, room service personnel brazenly intruded into our room without the courtesy of knocking, a blatant disregard for privacy and guest comfort. Furthermore, the behavior of the management staff was not just unprofessional but also showed a concerning ignorance of local regulations. They erroneously insisted on charging a local tourist tax from a resident of Hoofddorp, which is a clear violation of the guidelines as stated on the Dutch government's official website. This lack of knowledge and respect for the law is inexcusable for a business in the hospitality sector.
