I hate leaving a bad review, and I’ve been sitting on it for like 2 months, but every time I pass this location. It reminds me of what a bad experience we had there. First off, we accidentally booked two rooms, and when I called to explain that and see if we could cancel one and they were not only rude, but they also said absolutely not there’s no way. Which given that is their policy I didn’t hold it against them. It was a bit annoying, but that part is on me. However, the customer service was really really really bad even in communicating that they can’t cancel the room ( which they could if they wanted to) they were extremely rude Secondly, the biggest thing was the fire alarm went off at 5:45 AM. We have three small children and we’re looking forward to at least sleeping in until seven or eight. It didn’t go off because there was a fire or because someone pulled it. It was just a malfunction on their end. We had to haul all of our kids out at 5:45 in the morning when I asked them in a very nice way “hey we had to get up super early, and now are sitting in our room at 6am with 3 kids, can you at least provide free breakfast, since we are up two hours before we normally are” they said no. Are you serious? That seems pretty reasonable. We went ahead and bought breakfast and then got a text at 10 AM saying that there is free breakfast because of the fire alarm after we already paid for it when I asked if they would comp the breakfast that we already bought they said no. Also, we came here mainly because I had a swimming pool. Turns out it was not heated, and they provided no compensation for that. so all in all, pretty bad

Location great for Portland area, and general Vancouver, rooms clean and new. Staff was very friendly and helpful at checkin. I did not try restaurant but they told me it would be extra. Wait staff at restaurant were helpful with coffee machine which makes a cup on demand.

Have stayed here a couple of times now. Both trips went very well and we enjoyed the hotel. Staff on both trips were very polite and very helpful and had lots of conversation while checking in our rooms. Rooms were nice and decently maintained. The restaurant is available in the lobby if you're looking for easy to find food without going out. There are also many restaurants very close by that you can walk or drive to in minutes. There is plenty of onsite free parking, even for large and oversized vehicles. They have a robot security guard that patrols the lot to prevent car breakins. However, the location seems fairly safe, and I never saw anything that would keep me from bringing my family here. This location overall is a decent place for your next trip.
