Honestly a great place, the price is ok and the food is alright. You need to book in advance to get the best experience. Seen too many people walk in and trying to get a seat that's reserved and complained about how this place isn't foreigner friendly.

Actually this place should put a sign that foreigners are not welcome. Eventually inform them that Japan has evolved and opened since the shogunate period. We crashed here as it looked nice from the outside. We were told that it was closed and looking up we saw that there were free tables and other clients, not the very best I have seen from Japan hospitality so far. Hopefully there are other places in the corner and the review score of this place is less than sufficient.

I think they cancel your reservation if you are a foreigner, so don't waste your time. Too bad because the place looks very nice.
