You can't find a better service with this pricing at such a central location. The receptionist was a very kind and attentive gentleman who checked-us in swiftly after we arrive at the hotel. The parking spaces were plenty (it might be tough for some big vehicles, but our sedan got in comfortably) and it was very easy to park as you enter from the side street, not the main boulevard. The room was clean and tidy. We didn't come across any nasty things that were mentioned in some other reviews. Everything worked smoothly. There was hot water and the water pressure was great. Clean sheets and towels were provided. The heating/cooling unit is a bit loud, but achieves its job nicely.

Will never go here again and I told the woman at the front desk the same thing. She was incredibly rude. I was there with my wife and three children for a night to walk to the Grove. I booked and paid the room a month in advance on Agoda and when I went to check in she said we don’t allow five guests. My children are 12, 2, and 1. At this point we had already walked to dinner after being refused an early check in and we had a few glasses of wine so driving was not an option. She told me she will allow it this one time. Rooms are disgusting. Go somewhere else.

The best covers were very visibly stained, room smelled of old stale cigarette and there were ashes in the ac unit, USB and power outlets combo did not work, loose outlets wouldn't hold chargers in place to get a charge, tun was moldy as was the floor mat. When I called to inquire about check in and parking there was no answer several times, I finally emailed and got a quick and seemingly friendly response. The woman at the front desk was the opposite of friendly or welcoming at check in or out. The office is locked and you communicate through thick glass and a small hole. Didn't see coffee or pastries as the website advertised. There are security cameras EVERYWHERE. Which is fine for the property, LA is a rough area... but this still seemed like a lot. Parking is an absolute nightmare. Even if you drive a compact vehicle, unless it is a fiat or a smart car you will struggle. The parking is on site but it's tight. The only good things about this hotel was the price and that it was semi close to our destination, we literally only slept there. 0/10 would not stay here again. Next time we will spend the extra money and go to a clean, friendly, welcoming location.
